I read the previous reviews on these pacifiers and bought a dozen of them. Word of advice- don’t.My son will NOT use them. In fact, he hates them. He only likes the MAM pacifiers.
the ONLY pacifier
This is the ONLY pacifier my daughter will take. Period. She’s not hooked on pacifiers, she only uses them to fall asleep. However, it HAS to be a GumDrop. Not the ones from the store, THIS KIND. You can buy them at some retail stores such as Buy, Buy Baby and Target, but the material they are made out of is different. It’s shiny. These are matte, and she loves the texture. I order them by the half dozen because they tend to get lost around the house. They are easy to clean, soft, and I am extremely happy with them.
Don’t leave home without ’em
Our girl is a fan of the paci – and these are the only brand we’ve ever used. I love the fun colors, but most of all I love the solid silicone material. They’re a breeze to pop in the dishwasher or diaper bag, plus they’re enormously durable and have survived accidental trips in the washing machine or being stepped on in the middle of the night. The fact that it’s all one molded piece makes me comfortable that there’s nothing to accidentally snap off. And even with my girl’s teeth starting to come in, we haven’t noticed any wear yet (in fact, she’s started to rub the wide edge against her gums these past few weeks – so she’s been getting even more use of them!). They seem almost indestructible, not to mention enormously soothing to our little one. I’m so happy she has something that helps her feel a little more at ease in tired, stressed out times.
Baby can’t live without!
My baby Maddie LOVES the binkies. She was first given one when she was about 20 minutes old by her doctor. My Weeny Dog loves them too, thats why I have to keep buy more. I find them chewed up all over the place!
Okay, but my baby doesn’t like it
I can’t give these a bad or good review, really, my baby just doesn’t like these pacifiers. Had she started off with a Soothie type of pacifier, I could see her liking this one, but at 6-7 months old, this paci is just too small for her mouth, and she is a small baby (14 pounds at 7 months.) I do like the material of the pacifier because it warms up quickly, so I can hold it in my hand to warm it for her before putting it in her mouth before bedtime, and it is a more natural skin feeling material as opposed to hard plastic. These are a good deal, too, to buy in larger quantities. If you are looking for a stuffed animal paci holder, the Binky Bear does work with these. It is a tight fit, but they do fit if you try hard to get it on the bear. The paci has a little “tab” on the back of it that you can’t see in the picture that has a hole in it so you can use a paci keeper/buddy/string as well as connect it to the Binky Bear.
