Inexpensive and does it job

These are very inexpensive compared to my other cloth diapers. They work just as well and I don’t see any problems. I would say though that I’m not a big fan of the inserts that they come with. Microfiber inserts just hold on to the stinky poop or strong pee smells so much more than bamboo ones (which I love). My only wish is that they came with bamboo inserts which I wouldn’t mind paying a couple dollars more for that.

Worst diaper I have

To be honest, I have started using this as a swim diaper. It leaked every single time he wore it so I gave up on it. I have other alva baby diapers, but none of them are the minky material so perhaps that is why this one was so terrible?

a great cloth diaper option

I had heard of Alva cloth diapers as a cheaper way to cloth diaper using OSs but had heard mixed reviews. I decided to just buy one and give it a try. I am impressed and came back to buy more!I use this diaper on my 2 1/2 year old son who is a heavy wetter. I wasn’t expecting much from it, but I was pleasantly surprised when it had been roughly 3+ hours during a lengthy errand run and the diaper had been peed in, but wasn’t overflowing. It absorbed a lot better than I had expected. My son is long and lean, so I’m not sure if that makes a difference on other individual’s experiences with Alva. I have an 8 week old that I haven’t tried OS diapers on yet (we still do prefolds and covers) so I’m not sure how Alva holds up with a small(er) baby.

Good for the price but not the best.

These are good for the price, but they will leak from around the legs… my son is chunky too and they still leaked out. I think its just the inferior gussets, not the sizing. Also, these seem to be tempermental in the washer. Will work well until after several washes then starts to leak worse. Of all the alvas though, the minky do work better IMO than the others.

No complaints

I’m a first-time cloth diaper user. I have ordered three of these total now in this pattern. The prices unbeatable when you compare them to other brands of cloth diapers. At eight washingtons and seventy nine coins it’s a good deal! This last time I ordered they were delivered within 24 hours! I will buy again!
