Not what I expected
I was rather disappointed with this when I received it. It’s not easy to find a red changing pad cover, so I was excited to find this on Amazon. Well, the material is not as soft as I had expected and is somewhat thin. Not that big of a deal. However, what I hate about it is there are two small holes in the center of it for those dumb changing pad straps to fit through. Who actually straps in their baby when changing them? So, now you can see the white changing pad through those two holes and to the average Joe it looks like I have an old ratty changing pad cover that I should replace. Oh well.
There’s nothing nice about this changing pad cover. The fabric is thin and cheap, it’s too small for a standard changing pad so it rides up and you can see the sides of the changing pad. Also, it doesn’t lie on the changing pad – it’s so small that it stretches between the sides of the changing pad. I know it’s cheap, but it’s still wasted money. Yikes.
Great fit, thin material
This product fit my contoured changing pad well, but it’s a very thin material. So, it doesn’t absorb much. Holds up fine through washing/drying. Ordered this product because it was the only changing pad cover in the color I wanted that I could find.
I read other reviews where the changing table cover is thin. And, it is on the thin side. I put it over another cover and it fits very well and looks very good. It also holds up in the wash well.
Weird fit, weird material. But I needed a cover in navy which is really hard to find. Its barely worth the ten bucks i paid. It feels like it is 20 years old and is just really "pilly" and not really "terry" at all. Not soft either.Instead, I’m having a custom one made to replace this one. That one was 40 dollars on etsy but it has an 8 week delivery. This will work until then.
I like this cover because it was the color shown- a very bright red. Some products come faded or slightly off but this did not. Fits perfectly into my son’s NY Giants themed room. The only reason that I didn’t rate it with all the stars was because it is thinner than my other changing cover from another company. But I suppose that’s just because of a different material used. I would buy it again if I needed to though.
Small buckle Holes
It is VERY hard to get our changing pad buckles through the holes. Other than that, it is a great cover. We have to wash with towels, otherwise it leaves lint all over our clothes.
Flimsy, weird slits
Pretty color but material is cheap and not very soft. The slits for the securing straps are in an odd place.
Great Changing pad cover!
This is a super value and washes well are several washings. Fits the contour pad well and looks good too. I like it so much I bought navy and white too.Super value for the price.
MY GRANDSON’S ROOM WAS DONE WITH THE CAT IN THE HAT THEME. WE WERE GLAD TO FIND THIS COLOR OF COVER HERE ON AMAZON. IT WORKED GREAT!
It was difficult for me to find a changing pad cover in red, so I tried this one. It was a great price, and it works just fine. It fits well on my contoured changing pad, and it’s held up perfectly after numerous washes. My only complaint is that I wish it didn’t have holes in it for the straps since we don’t use the straps, but oh well, small problem.
It is a little thin- but the price is great. I have a superhero themed nursery and this red cover works so well! I also ordered a black fitted crib sheet from the same company and it’s also thin but again- the color options are great and the prices are great too.
The cover I got is a low quality one. The fabric is harsh and covered in lint balls. The stiching is porrly made as well.I’m glad I didn’t pay full price for this, but still upset about this purchase.
Poor quality, but true to color
I only purchased this, despite the poor reviews, because I specifically wanted a navy blue changing pad cover, and this was the only one I could find. I’ve seen and felt higher quality terry cotton that this. I’m not very picky either. After a wash or two, it looked like a rag. So sad it couldn’t work out. I would return it if I could, but I’ve already washed it. I ended up buying a white minky dot cover from American Baby (love it!) that remained soft after many washes.
