We didn’t like this baby carrier
We didn’t like this baby carrier because it is too complicated to use, takes to long to learn how to use it and baby didn’t feel comfortable in it. We tried figuring it our from videos of other people using it, advertising videos, instruction manual. In the beginning while learning you have to be very careful and likely you’ll need help from another person. It looks easy in the video, but it isn’t. We are very quick learners and can figure things out easily. This baby carrier was difficult to figure out and use. After trying it our for about 1h we had to send it back because it simply doesn’t work. Our newborn doesn’t fee comfortable in it. Baby’s head wasn’t getting support needed. We highly recommend following baby carrier: BabyHawk Mei Tai Baby Carrier. It is well priced, easy to use and you can hold a baby up to 40 lbs.
A comfy baby carrier for Mom & Baby!
This carrier is adjustable. I adore that this sling has an adjustable buckle in the back. This feature alone is what sold me on this baby carrier. One size fits all has never worked for me before. The fact that I can adjust the straps on this carrier to adhere to my comfort makes this one of my go to carriers. The buckle is fantastic! I really like the fact that theBabaSling can be unbuckled so as not to wake a sleeping baby. Making the transition from baby wearing to peaceful sleeping as easy as possible for everyone. Many options for wearing. This carrier has a wide variety of carrying options and they are all super easy to do; theBabaSling even comes with a manual with photos demonstrating these positions and how to achieve them. I really like to wear my son on my hip and theBabaSling makes this position easy for me to do.100% cotton. It is breathable (thank goodness because my children run hot and can overheat easily) and soft. There is a surprising amount of material at play in this carrier, allowing more or less coverage/freedom when babywearing. This baby carrier is comfy for baby and mommy.Machine washable (at 40 degrees)! HUGE! My children are typical boys and they get dirty and have a tendency of constantly getting their sticky hands all over everything. If it is not machine washable, it does not last long in my house.I discovered recently that theBabaSling has a nice little pocket built in. We use it to store extra pacifiers and Woody action figures.I was given theBabaSling to facilitate my review, regardless the opinions expressed here are 100% my own.
I am not "a carrier or sling" type of person. I use stroller everywhere possible. I just feel restricted to wear the baby when I go out; however, sometimes slings can be helpful, when I need my hands free, like going to post office or shopping. I think this sling is a good solution for people like me, because it is very easy to put on and fast to take off, thanks to the buckle. The material is a really good quality (organic – beige). It is very sturdy as well. I like that it can be easily adjusted; so people of different sizes can wear it. However, it is quite expensive sling.
difficult to use
i was really looking forward to this as an alternate option to the wrap but it was difficult to use. I had a hard time adjusting the straps while it was on me and just could not get myself or the baby comfortable. The straps kept twisting so it was very difficult to pull while the sling was on me. I tried to watch the videos on the website but it was not too helpful. I was disappointed.
A sling that needs time and practice to master
For me, there are the same amount of pros as there are cons for this sling. It’s comfy, but awkward. It’ll fit a lot of sizes, but it’ll take a long time to find the right size with the straps. And if you plan on using it with two people that are two different sizes, like my wife and I, then have fun readjusting the straps!Once I get it sized correctly, it seems that my little girl is comfortable half the time. The other half she spends crying and crying and crying. However, that’s partially mixed in with the fact that she has colick.Overall, it’s the best sling I’ve tried, and I’ve tried plenty. If you’re set on getting a sling, I recommend trying this one. But if you’re deciding between this and a carrier, get the carrier.
Best sling I’ve tried!
Tried a couple of other slings, plus the Baby Bjorn, and the Baba blows them away. Comfortable for me, and for my baby. Easy to get on and off WITHOUT HELP, but not easy to adjust while wearing (the Baby Bjorn is).
My baby hates this sling
I returned this sling because my baby hated it. I thought it was great and I was hopeful she would like it to.
The best sling ever!
I love it, watched all Babasling vídeos at youtube and unfortunately, I could use it in 1 position. Very well made, very SECURE and this Scarlet colour is the best!
Short Term Investment
I’ve owned this carrier for eight months and I’m getting rid of it. Based upon the positive reviews, it works for the majority but not me. I was very hesitant to spend a lot of money on a carrier but based upon much research, I was convinced that this was the one. After seven children, I’ve tried many carriers but cannot say that I have a favorite, yet. Most carriers have cons and this one had way too many for me to continue to use. First of all, from birth, I could never get my baby’s face to stay up. She always managed to turn inward no matter how I adjusted everything. That made me nervous because I was afraid that she couldn’t breath. I had to support her head while in the sling with one arm which was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. As my baby grew, I used this carrier less and now that she’s 8 months, I can’t bare to have her in this sling longer than 20 minutes. I’m always adjusting it because it rides up my neck and all her weight baring down over one shoulder HURTS! I don’t see how anyone could carry a toddler in this thing. The instructions make it seem so easy to pull the sling down a little over the opposite shoulder to tighten it, but it’s not that easy. It’s versatile and I did like that I could nurse her while staying covered and multitasking, BUT that alone wasn’t worth the price if I really couldn’t use it long. I toggled back and forth between this carrier and the Infantino Sash Mei Tai Carrier. The Infantino carrier isn’t really useful during the newborn stage, but once your child grows, it’s much more supportive, comfortable and cheaper. I can’t recommend spending so much money on a carrier that isn’t comfortable after a few months.
Nice, soft, breathable material on this sling.
I really want to like this sling. I like the nice, soft material it’s made out of and the color is nice. However, I don’t always feel like I get my baby in a very stable position in this sling. I think if I can get some help, I will really like this carrier. I have nursed my 2-month-old daughter in this sling without anyone the wiser, so that’s pretty cool. It seems fairly breathable, which is important since I live in Texas. This one’s a keeper – especially once I figure out some different carrying positions for my baby. Might help to watch some YouTube videos.
Love it so much. It’s comfortable for me and I think for my baby too. Very stylish I love that I doesn’t look like I’m carrying by baby in a backpack. Personal preference I guess. I little pricy but I do think it’s made well
Mother of 2
I have 2 kids under 2 and was looking for some tools to make it easier to get out of the house. I first tried the k’tan since it was cheaper and so many people seem to like it. But when i opened it up, ot was so confusing! The babasling So much easier to use than k’tan! It also looks much more sleeker and more durable. Its still a little tough for me to get the baby in a comfortable spot.
