gets easier to use as your baby grows
When this diaper is on the smallest setting, sometimes we had leaks because the excess liner fabric would stick out of the leg holes. We always made sure it was tucked in, but with the baby moving around, it would work its way out. The velcro seems sturdy and the laundry tabs are good too. The insert needs to be double stuffed for my heavy wetter, especially at night, so buy extra inserts if you are getting these as your primary diaper. Overall I’m satisfied with the diaper more as my baby has grown and it fits him better.
Worth the price!
I needed more velcro diapers for my son that my mom could use and husband and these are great. the velcro is great and strong much better then other diapers. I will definitely be buying more of these.
My son is 4 months old and an extremely heavy wetter. These diapers keep him dry for hours. He would soak through a disposable in 2 hours. He can wear this much longer. The quality of the diapers are amazing. The inside is so soft and the inserts are very absorbant. These diapers are one of my favorites. I would give this diaper 5 stars, but it is a little bulky. I like a more trim fitting diaper, but overall these are amazing. I have one in every color. They make a great over night or nap diaper!
I have a love/hate relationship with this diaper.
We primarily use flat diapers with different types of covers (Thirsties, GroVia, and Flips). My husband prefers the Flips for the ability to use a pad folded diaper as an insert, and that system is easy enough for my mother-in-law to use. However, I wanted something even easier for her or any other babysitter we might have in the future, and I was interested in a better nighttime diaper. So on the recommendation of many women on a cloth diapering board I frequent, I ordered the Blueberry OS diaper. The print is really, really cute. The hook and loop feels and looks to be higher quality than the Velcro on my Thirsties covers. The inner part of the diaper is so soft, and it’s nice to have two different sized inserts. I haven’t used the diaper as often as I would have guessed, though. First, I absolutely loathe stuffing it. I’m glad I didn’t stock up on pocket diapers before giving this a try. Second, having used the flats with covers for so long, my husband and I both feel like a diaper that is only good for one wear per wash is sort of a…waste? Third, the cost is high compared to the Thirsties covers. But the biggest problem has been the leaks. It seems no matter what I do, the diaper ends up leaking by the end of the night, even if the insert isn’t soaked. My son is a small baby – short and skinny – and I just can’t get a gap-free fit at the waist.I so want to like this diaper, but for the price I paid, I’ve had too many problems. I’ll save it for our second child and hope it gets some use then. But I’m on the hunt for an AIO or pocket diaper that fits skinny babies.UPDATE (7/29/13): A few months after writing my last review, DS has grown into this diaper. He’s still relatively short and skinny, but it fits so much better, and it hasn’t leaked in a long time. I use it as a night diaper, double-stuffed, and he can wear it all night without any leaks. I’m so glad I hung onto it, though I think BumGenius 4.0 works just as well for slightly less money.
Super cute and leak proof too! These diapers are really easy to put on and to get clean. They don’t leak and are cute…what more could you want? They are definitely fluffy so clothes will have to be sized up. They also work great with no leaks for nighttime use.
Will have more
The design is so cute. Materials are perfect. Not bulky. Look nice on my baby. I’ll buy more and I’ll recommend it to whoever wants to use cloth diapers.
