The sun shade is AWESOME, the rest of it just OK

I was a procrastinator when it came to trying out strollers/getting things ready for baby so this was sort of a last minute/scrambling purchase. The click-connect infant carseat and stroller are a nice combo. Stylish check. Safe check. But I have some complaints. The stroller does not have anywhere for you to put your keys/phone/water bottle for either you OR your little one. A lot of strollers come with trays for the toddler and even compartments for the stroller pusher..a tad bit inconvenient for the busy on-the-go mommy. I’ve found solutions to one of those problems. You can buy a stroller caddy so that you have a convenient place to hold a drink/cup, key, etc. Diono makes a good one that matches the black stroller great (two cup holders too!). Britax does make a removable tray for your little ones snacks and cup, but by no circumstances should you invest money in it. IT SUCKS. I have one and it literally just stays in the trunk of the car. Baby can’t reach it (even in a fully upright position) and it doesn’t hold anything well. Read the comments on the tray product itself to learn more. It’s pretty unanimous. The sunshade on the stroller is awesomeeee! It extends very far and there’s even a peep-hole mesh area so you can see baby can be closed by a flap that has velcro attached to the end of it. No sun or rain will get to your baby. Another con to the stroller, even in the fully upright position, baby is never really sitting up too straight. My daughter is 2 now and when we go to the zoo/aquarium..anywhere really, I constantly see her straining to sit up straighter so she can see something. With the harness on though, their limited to their slightly reclined position. Secondly, the most reclined position isn’t the best either. I’ve seen strollers that recline to an almost flat position. The Britax B-agile gets close, but it doesn’t let your little one sleep flat. A few more inches and it would be perfect. Not sure why it stops short, all Britax would need to do is extend the tether a few more inches. But hey, if they’re knocked out, they’re knocked out.As for the infant seat. It’s OK. It’s cute. Not the lightest thing in the world, but definitely the not the heaviest. I live in a warm, tropical state and when we get to our cars that haven’t been parked in the shade, it is ridiculously hot. The material of the carseat (the polka-dot padded area) is made out of some sort of polyester that does NOT breath and gets scorching hot in the sun. I have to wait a good 5 minutes with the A/C blasting for it to be safe/cool enough to put baby in. Once baby is in, because the material doesn’t breath, she sweats and sweats and sweats. I feel really bad for her sometimes, because the weather can be unrelenting. If I’m not that hot sitting in a regular seat in the car, I don’t see why baby has to be so hot. When you wash the infant seat covering/padding, it leaves awful water marks. I can’t get rid of them and the covers are permanently stained.I wish I went for something else to be honest. But the set itself is very cute, portable, and easy to use. There are downsides, but I suppose every travel system has some minuses. Right? I’d definitely want to scope out the stroller scene better next time around…yes, I do think I’ll be getting a different travel system for the next baby. It served its purpose but I expected better for the price.

Great product, lousy retailer

Love this system without question. For my first child, I had a Graco travel system that was so heavy & cumbersome that I just didn’t use it. This is lightweight and easy even for a petite mom like myself. Very easy to grab and go and maneuverability is incredible. The only reason that I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the manner with which Amazon handled this transaction. I originally pre-ordered the identical red travel system at a significant price reduction advertised by Amazon. I received an email from Amazon after the item should’ve shipped, informing me that the item was on back order indefinitely but I could cancel the red item and pay well over $100 more for the identical black version. As I was about to have a baby any day, I didn’t have the luxury to wait until they may/may not get my order in. When I contacted Amazon, let’s just sat that they weren’t able to offer anything to balance out this issue (I was told I could purchase the black option at much higher price). I informed Amazon that I would no longer do business with them and wanted a refund on my Prime membership, suggesting to them that the least they could do was send me the black version at the same discounted price, which they ultimately did. I strongly feel that they mish-priced the red version and hoped most of their customers would just pay more for the black version, or order another travel system altogether. I had to force their hand to honor the price on the black version (though I believe the red is in greater demand) in order to have a travel system in time for the birth of my son. This should have been Amazon’s first offer to their long-time customer & shouldn’t have originated with me & required me to make threats to get it done.

Very good travel system for the price

I am giving this rating taking into consideration that with coupons and a sale price I only paid a little over $100 for the entire system. The only reason it gets 4 stars is that you have to purchase the front bar/cup holder separately and it is not as sleek- looking as similar products. It’s worth noting that this is the first and only stroller/travel system I have ever owned.I love that both pieces seem to be very light. I can carry the stroller with one hand, and even though my daughter is 9 months old and weighs A LOT, I can carry the seat with one arm (important to stress ARM, not hand). The base that comes with the system is very easy to install and has leveler on it so you don’t have to use a pool noodle like with some of the other ones. I have had to strip the seat twice to wash it and it was easy to disassemble and reassemble. I need to wash the stroller cover but it looks way more difficult so I haven’t made an attempt yet.One thing I have a complaint about is that the storage pocket on the back is really weird. It’s right behind the seat so when you lean the seat back, the velcro holding the pocket to the stroller comes loose and it hangs down. It also comes loose sometimes when folding the stroller, and also when you put the canopy down it pulls it loose because they are attached to each other. We haven’t yet been able to figure out exactly how to fasten it so that we don’t have this problem. It’s really annoying because when you put things in the pocket it just swings back and forth and hangs low and looks sloppy.Overall this is a great bargain, and wherever you buy it from check if they have the warranty with it. If anything happens they refund you the full price of the system 🙂 I do recommend this stroller!

Great Deal on Amazon!

This is an amazing deal here on Amazon, for both the stroller and carseat. We pre-ordered this before the released date and were able to get it for a very reasonable price. The product arrived as advertised, and looks great in person. The stroller was a breeze to put together- it took me less than 5 minutes, while my husband got the baby ready for her stroll! Britax gives a $10 coupon for each item that you review on their website if you follow the instructions that come on a card along with the manual. We reviewed both the car seat and stroller and were able to get some accessories for less than their cost on their website. Happy parents!

The “cadillac” of carseats!

I’ve had many people comment on how nice our travel system is, especially the stroller! It has a fast folding mechanism that works well and between the car seat and stroller provides enough shade that our baby can continue to take his nap without the interruption of having sunlight shine in his eyes. We purchased a Britax cup and storage unit that compliments the stroller. The stroller is easy to maneuver and seems to do well over all kinds of terrain. Once the base is installed, it is a simple move to pull a latch and lift the car seat out. Once the baby is in the stroller things move along pretty well.. When you go to remove the car seat and return it to your car the detachment is a lot more difficult. You have to reach over your baby and put one hand on either side of the car seat and lift it up. It would be nice if there were able to design a better system like the car seat to base has. Overall we are happy with the travel system. The main drawback is that our baby tends to sweat in his car seat.

Perfect – look no further

I love this system. Love the safety of the infant car seat, car seat snaps easily into base & stroller. I love the stroller. Simple to open & close, pushes very easily and I lay my newborn in stroller for walks (verses car seat ) and it’s like a bassinet with a slight angle. So much better for his hips & alignment during our long walks!!!

Great travel system!

Love it. If I had it to do over again (and was looking in the same price point) I probably would have gone with the b-ready because you can have the child facing you and you can add a second seat but for a single stroller travel system it’s fantastic and I’m very happy with it.

Overall an awesome Travel System!!

Pros:- Sturdier than most baby products out there.- Stroller is so easy to use!! Light weight! Folds easy! Doesn’t tip over! Maneuvers well!- Material is so durable that you can wash it and it dries fast!! Good quality!!Cons:- Baby car seat is so heavy, I would not recommend if you have to carry this upstairs. I did sprain both my wrists and now I have to just leave it in the car and buy a heat protector so it doesn’t overheat.- Wish it came in more colors.- Baby will overheat in the summer bc of the material.-
