A little bit fidgidy but very useful on the Cameleon
Got this as the cover on the Cameleon isn’t great but initially it turned out to be a bit more difficult to use than I had hoped. But having used it now for a couple of months I have come to like it. The first one I got broke and Bugaboo quickly sent me a new one without any hassle. Somehow the new one worked better in general. It was easier to open and close as well as adjust. The hard part when adjusting it is that you need to hold on to the bottom part of the spring before you bend it otherwise it will not adjust but instead just spring back, it is a spring after all. When you have gotten the hang of that it is fairly easy to find a tilt that gives you a good cover. I normally use the parasol with the top down as it allows for better visibility for the baby and more breeze on a hot day.
nothing too special, doesn’t provide enough shade
This turned out to be a huge waste of money. The parasol doesn’t stay in one place and doesn’t provide enough shade, so basically it doesn’t do what it is supposed to.
I’m very happy with the Bugaboo parasol. It’s easy to put on and provides good coverage. My only negative comment would be that it can be a little hard to bend.
Functional and stylish!
This is perfect for shading my baby in her Bugaboo without putting her in some kind of cocoon where heat can get trapped. Love it! And so do passers by- I’m always getting compliments on my "stroller umbrella!"
Great parasol – easy to attach to stroller – only hurdle is keeping it out of reach of my 11month-old’s paws.
I love the look of this parasol with her matching accessories, however, it does fall off on its own. It fell off when it wasn’t even in use in the middle of crossing the street. I had to stop pick it up and walk with it under my arm until I reached the sidewalk. It blocks the sun but isn’t as versitle as I thought it would be. I still use it for going on out leisurely walks but for short trips I end up leaving it home.
an absolute necessity in the NY summer!
I installed theBugaboo Bee Breezy Sun Canopy, Silver(for the older model- 2009) when using myBugaboo Bee Stroller and Canopy – Pinkwith my newborn, but noticed that even with the extra long canopy that’s on the older model, the sun would still get in her face sometimes at certain angles. I was debating between this and the mosquito cover/sun net but I wanted something that I could open and shut with one hand. I bought this and I couldn’t be happier, it’s super cute and does the job! I can’t speak for how useful it is if the seat is in the toddler position, but it’s great when my baby is facing me and laying down. I have a pink one and the color is awesome as well, it matches theBugaboo Baby Cocoon Light, Pinkand I love the pop of color it adds.
