No more disposables

My son has not had a messy leak since we started using these. I put him in disposables one time after buying cloth and the diaper basically exploded as soon as he had a movement. I have only used a disposable once since then and it was for half an hour while his diaper covers were drying. These are fantastic.

Excellent kit

This is a great kit for those wanting to cloth diaper. I had bought this having no clue what I was looking for and was very pleased. I have used these from the beginning and are well loved. I did find that 36 prefolds is MORE than enough. I wash every 2-3 days and never ran out of prefolds or covers for my baby. I did however, purchase some thirsties covers, so I could have a variety of colors! The prefolds are also unbleached indian prefolds and super soft and fluffy!!Now that my LO is about to outgrow these, I have been using the prefolds inside the BG and fuzzi bunz diapers as inserts, especially overnight with no added bulkiness. These prefolds have gotten plenty of use and more than paid for themselves! Also do practice a variety of folds. The fold in the Bummis directions is designed more for a girl with the added absorbancy in the middle. For a boy you want to fold up the front and do an angel wing fold to have more absorbancy in the front. I have noticed when I do the fold in the directions teh diapers are soaked very quickly and when I do teh angel fold they aren’t soaked through…so do practice.

Great starter kit!!!

We bought this after a lot of research on what type of diapers would be best for newborns and we love it. It has almost everything you would need. We ended up buying 6 more fitted diapers to go along with the prefolds because that will be easier for the baby sitter and at night. The wet bag is HUGE. I can’t imagine needing it to be that big, but it will have plenty of space. The only thing missing are the pins (or snappies) for the prefolds, but you can get those pretty easily.

I used these for a year and a half. My son recently potty trained. They worked super well and are my fav cloth diaper option. I did end up getting more covers. All their covers are good, I like the snaps, but I like the gussets, maybe one day they will make one like that. but I ended up using this kit and purchasing a few thristies snap covers and thats all I needed! (I used disposable night diapers, but that because NOTHING worked well enough overnight. and the cloth diapers got an ammonia smell that was horrible in any cloth diaper. That said, I used these every day all day and during naps. simple to use, never had repelling issues, and I have known several people that have used these and I have yet to hear a complaint.! their customer service was also super amazing and helpful!

Great way to start cloth diapering

This makes cloth diapering doable! I loved having an intro kit as I found cloth diapering overwhelming before I started this way. Then I ventured out and tried other brands, but this was a great start. These diapers are easy to use, easy to wash and maintain (mine still look new after 8 months of use).Never have any “blowouts” and baby seems really comfy in these. Easy to put on too with the velcro.Only objections – They take a while to dry. They are on the ‘larger’ size of washable diapers, so baby can only wear bigger clothes with these.

If you don’t know poop about Cloth Diapers, buy this kit.

When I was pregnant I watched tons of videos on how to fold cloth diapers. I love love love flat fold diapers. What I don’t love is being the only person in the house that knows how to fold cloth diapers. My husband can fix a car, but he cannot fold a flat fold diaper. This kits makes cloth diapering dummy proof. It has enough prefolds for at least two days and if you are new to cloth diapering, you will not go two days without doing a load of laundry. It even comes with a wet bag.The other nice thing about these diapers and the covers is that you don’t need any pins or snappis. The cover holds everything in place. We never had a blowout with this covers, it contained all the poop. We only had one night time leakage problem and that was solved by adding a microfiber insert (we used the microfiber cloth you can buy at Costco to polish cars.)We also saved TONS of money cloth diapering. If you can avoid buying four or five cases of sposies, this kit paid for itself. Plus our little one only has a couple of out breaks of diaper rash, thanks to sposies at daycare. This kit is good for the first several months and then we needed to buy larger diaper covers. or the next kit up. We are still using the same inserts and will use this kit with the next baby.

Good starter package

I’m really glad we got these as a starter package for cloth diapering. It can take a little practice to make sure you get everything on correctly, but after just two weeks, my husband and I are really old pros. We have very few leaks (and when we do, it’s usually because our baby had a huge blowout, or we put them on wrong). Washes fast and easy. They are pretty bulky, so our newborn looks a little bottom heavy, but he’ll grow into them. I would be sure to use the Bio-Soft liners, as it really pulls the moisture away and keeps him from getting diaper rash. Plus, they keep the diapers from staining so badly.

absorbant but bulky

This system works great but is so bulky on my newborn. My husband says it looks like he has a football in his pants. No leaks though. Lots of leaks with disposables. Would recommend this kit but am hoping the fit will be better as my newborn grows.
