The Giraffes have arrived, A mother giraffe attentively watches over her baby in this richly colored Carter’s Tall Tales 4-Piece Crib Set. Artistically carrying the giraffe’s natural spotting to the set design, a rich brown field is brought to life through brightly colored circles and fabrics with corresponding embroidery and stitching. The giraffes are creatively styled in white with contrasting stitching in this set which includes a quilt, bumper, dust ruffle and fitted sheet. The delightful quilt measures 36″ x 45″, features a tall and stately mother giraffe and baby and presents bright ring-colored fabrics of orange, blue, green, and yellow. A multi-colored striped piping rims the quilt and the back side is white with a myriad of smaller colorful rings. The quilt shell is 65% polyester, 35% cotton with a 100% cotton lining. The 4-piece bumper presents the giraffe and circle/ring pattern along the bumper length and has a reverse side of bright multi-colored stripe fabric. The bumper is 11″ high x 157″ long with single multi-colored ties on each corner and 7 sets of double ties along the top and bottom edges. The dust ruffle offers the mom and baby giraffe on a chocolate brown 14″ drop with a multi-colored striped border which excellently complements and contrasts with the crib set. The printed border is 65% polyester and 35% cotton and the brown field is 100% cotton. The soft, 100% cotton fitted sheet is replete with brown, yellow, green, blue and orange colored rings and attractively completes the Tall Tales theme. Care instructions: machine wash cold, with like colors, do not bleach, tumble dry low, remove promptly, cool iron on reverse side if needed.

Just right

Most of the crib sets are too cutesy and cartoonish. This set is great because it is not over-the-top cutesy or some bizarre cartoon like animal. The colors on this are great. My wife and I loved the four piece set so much that we bought all the rest of the items to match. The dark brown background really makes the other colors pop and they look great! Too bad it looks like it is being discontinued. Buy it before it is no longer available!

Liked very much

I liked this set very much. I thought it was a nice alternative for giraffe bedding that is not too cartoonish. The blanket is quilted the back of the blanket is the circle pattern of the sheets. In the end we decided to go with a much more boyish set so this one was returned.

Beautiful set!

I purchased this for our nursery and LOVE the colors. Our little one hasn’t arrived yet so I can’t comment on the quality of the set over time. However, I was disappointed that the bumber cover is not removable. The bumpers are supposed to air dry so I anticipate this will be a problem when the baby is napping (the bumper will take a considerable amount of time to dry). You may want to purchase a back up if this bothers you. Also, this is a discontinued set. Therefore the other accessories in the picture are no longer available (window valence, etc). Just something to keep in mind.

Cot bumper does not have washable cover!

The set is cute, quality is fine. However, I specifically wanted a cot bumper that the fabric could be removed and washed. This one advertised that feature but the cover is stitched to the padding and you have to wash the whole thing. It takes forever to dry so how do you do that when your kid naps 3 times a day…? Would not buy again for this reason.

Very cute boy bedding!

This bedding is very cute. The blanket has visible stitching the looks quilted and detail on the bright, colorful dots. The giraffes are super soft and the multi-colored stripes around the edges add more colors to the bedding. It seems well made and the matching receiving blankets are also very cute.

Great Value and Super Cute

I loved this set and it arrived just as pictured. Super cute. I have enjoyed the colors and the fun it has provided in our nursery. Only upgrade would be to loose the bumpers that are no longer recommended in cribs and substitute with a valence or curtain.
