I love this travel system! Easy installation in the car and also the fold up and open is easy also. A little bulky but its not difficult! I would only go with this brand if I needed another purchase
Have a friend that professionaly installs carseats. This is the product that he reccomended we purchase for our newborn. I love the pattern too!
6 months of daily use, only few complaints so far!
I spent a lot of time choosing a travel system for my first child until finally settling on this one. After 6 months of use I am pretty happy with it:+ The stroller has 4 reclining levels, including one that reclines completely flat – important for newborns+ the stroller rolls nicely, turns easily+ the handle can be adjusted to several heights+ when the baby is small, can close the foot part to create bassinet feeling+ storage basket is pretty roomy+ fantastic price!+ the carseat can be removed from the base and carried with the baby (in those cases when you don’t want to wake the baby up by fiddling with straps!)+the carseat has infant insert and infant head support – makes it cozy early on and can be taken out later as the baby gets bigger.+ since it’s a travel system, the carseat snaps very nicely inside the stroller (my baby hated to be in the stroller for the first month but was ok with the carseat, so this feature was perfect for taking walks early on)Now few downsides:- the stroller might be a bit on the bulky side when it comes to putting it in the car. It pretty much takes the entire Prius’ trunk space AND I have to fold the handle down to make it fit easier.- need an infant insert (snuzzler) otherwise enclosure too roomy for a newborn (needs to purchase it separately)- there is not much padding to the stroller – now that the babe is 6 months and sits, I use a blanket under him to make it a little softer.- when the stroller seat is fully reclined (and it has to be if you are putting carseat in), it is virtually impossible to put anything other than a very skinny purse in the storage basket! Very annoying. From descriptions that I read, sounds like most strollers are the same way.In the end, I was not willing to pay a lot more money for systems that might have marginal advantages, so I am still pretty happy with this one!
very sturdy and quiet
we saw too many strollers and then we met with this chicco,it was a little bit expensive but it’s worth it,the car seat felt safe ,the stroller was quiet and not that heavy, the only problem was that u can’t hook the car seat to the cart in walmart or any other store because there is no place to fit on the car seat but that is not a deal breaker.
Well designed product
I bought this for my first child who is almost here. Read all the reviews on various sites. Got a great deal on the Travel System from Amazon. Babysrus was $350+tax. So..buying online saved over $75. Anyways, it was packaged correctly, however the directions on putting it together was cryptic and it took me a while to put together the “basket” on the bottom of the stroller. It feels a solid product..hope our new baby will like it!
Carseat is great!
I only have the car seat, not the travel system, but I love it! This is a perfectly gender-neutral car seat that has great safety ratings and is reasonable in price. I chose the “22” instead of the Keyfit 30 because I read that it was a little lighter to carry. Of course that means it will only hold up to a 22 pound baby, but I didn’t think I’d be carrying an infant seat with a 30 pound child in it anyway! It worked out well because my baby is long, so she will outgrow this in length well before she would in weight anyway. Of course you can’t know if that will be the case for you if you are still pregnant! But either of the Chicco Keyfits will be good. The base is very easy to install (we use the shoulder harness method because I had a hard time getting the hooks to latch to the metal bars in my car- but the issue was very likely my car since it is old! Haha). The canopy could stand to be a little bigger in order to block out sun more, but the only time this is a problem is if we are walking/jogging in the middle of the day, in which case I just put a heavy blanket (that won’t blow off) on top to keep my baby fully shaded. Overall highly recommend this.
