Not as comfy as i thought it would be for the money 🙁
I bought this because my back & belly need some support while sleeping…but this pillow doesn’t help. It’s WAY TOOOO BIG..for my queen size bed..It divides me & my boyfriens up completely..i always have to sleep with two pillows under my head, so this pillow doesn’t allow me to because it’s so bulky..I have now switched this pillow around & reversed it so the Head Part of the Pillow is now at my feet & I use it as a foot elavation pillow. NOT worth the $$$ I would just buy the Tummy Wedge by Boppy for Belly Support 🙂 Cheaper & does the job! Hope this helps any new mommy’s out there…I wonder if i could send it back?? It’s been a little over 3 weeks?? Hummmm??
Nice, but pricey
Liked the pillow during my pregnancy, but what do I do with it now? LOLthe pillow does take up a good portion of a queen bed 🙂
Great for use DURING pregnancy … AND AFTER!!
I purchased (from another online store) the Fossfill Comfort U Total Body Pillow roughly 4.5 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. I was hesitant to pay THAT much for a pillow, but I took a chance. I primarily purchased it because I was having trouble staying on my side while sleeping. I would constantly wake up and be on my back (which wasn’t good). Anyway, it worked great in keeping me laying on my side, providing back support/relief and supporting my growing belly. I used it during the hot Texas summer and I was not at all too hot (granted, the A/C was running). The only complaint came from my husband, who said that it took up alot of space on the bed. It does provide excellent protection if you sleep with someone who moves/kicks around alot while sleeping. 🙂 Seriously, if you are sleeping with someone in smaller than a king-size bed, this pillow does take up extra space (imagine a king size pillow in front of you, as well as behind you). The REAL benefit of the pillow, however, came when my son turned 2 years old and moved to a full-size double bed. This pillow is the PERFECT size to make an “L” shape on the bed along the headboard and agaist the wall to provide comfort and additional support to a small child. It works much better than regular pillows (since it is more compact and firmer) and is much safer to use on the bed. The pillow also washes and dries up great. I’ve washed and dried it numerous times, and it still looks great. I highly recommend this pillow, especially for use on a full-size bed for a toddler. I have definitely gotten my money’s worth on this pillow.
Using the pillow for the second time in a row!
This is my second pregnancy using this pillow. As other reviews suggest, the pillow is totally huge and a tight squeeze in anything smaller than a King (though I used it in a Queen with my first pregnancy, with minimal complaints from my husband). There is no perfect pregnancy pillow out there, but this one comes close, in my opinion! It supports you all the way around and is body-length. It offers many options as far as getting comfortable, and no flipping the pillow in the middle of the night when you turn over. The only thing you have to do is move one half of it aside to get out of bed, which is cumbersome but gets easier with practice. I think having this pillow made for better sleep later in pregnancy when it is hard to come by, if anything because it decreased the amount of “rearranging” of pillows i had to do in the middle of the night.
Great for Tall people
I love this pillow! Have used since 12 weeks pregnant and it has been great. As other comments have stated, the u-shape is rather tight, so I would suggest using another pillow on top of it (which helps to prop you up if you have heartburn related to prenancy). However, being 5’8" I actually found it most useful with the U at the bottom and using my normal pillows. This gave support for my entire hip/leg and the back part kept me from rolling on my side. Also works well during the day, fold up the sides add another pillow and it makes a great cozy chair pillow. I think it will also work well for breastfeeding when the time comes. Needs to be fluffed from time to time, and I purchased a seperate pillowcase, the one that comes with is a little rough if you are using as your head pillow, but fine for a body pillow.
