Simple Bliss 4-1 stroller system by Wilshire is simple yet elegant and very durable stroller. Easy to maneuver and light weight as well. Recommended.
Amazing versatility – great from birth through toddlerhood
Excellent choice if you want your baby to feel comfortable safe and secure. What I like most about the stroller its a 4 in 1. Stroller is compatible with various carseats. Easy to put away and easy to set up and can easily wipe clean. Well worth the investment.
Sturdy and Flexible Regarding Use
My new grand baby is due to arrive in January and I am very excited as my daughter and son-in-law were out of the State when the first one was born through 2 years of his life. I now get to have all the fun toys at my house to take care of new baby. I was thrilled to be able to get this Contours Bliss 4-in-1 Stroller System. I have to admit though, I never had such a fancy piece of equipment when my daughter was a baby so I was a bit anxious about putting it together.Out of the box, all the pieces seemed very sturdy and well made. I opened the printed instruction manual and started with Step 1. Now, you can easily put the stroller together just by the instructions in this manual but do yourself a favor as I did. Go to ContoursBabyDotCom, find your model and watch the videos. It will start with a short video of how to use the features then it will go on to another video of step by step visual instructions of how to put it together. I love video instructions.I noticed when I put the rear axle rod in and went to put the back wheels on, one wheel did not want to slide on. I had to get the can of WD40 out. So, just maybe have that on hand or some vaseline if you don’t have WD40. TIP ALERT!!: They don’t tell you this in the video or in the printed instructions but make sure your axle rod is sticking out the SAME distance on each side to where you can clearly see the holes for the cotter pins after the washer is on. I put one side on and then couldn’t get to the hole on the other side so I had to pull the cotter pin out and start over. They give you an extra cotter pin and extra washer however. This seems like it would be a “duh” moment but really is something you just wouldn’t think of until you do it and mess it up. At least for me, LOL. After that the hub caps snap on easily and the rear wheels are good to go.The front wheels just simply snap into place. The seat assembly is very simple as well. The movement of the canopy is a bit stiff. I don’t have a lot of experience with canopies so I am not sure if that is the norm. There is the little plastic window in it to peek in on baby while in front facing position. There is a lot of room on the bottom for storing all of baby’s gear. I live within walking distance from a park so I can see loading it all up and going out for a couple of hours on nice days! There is a cup holder included but it seems a bit flimsy to me and where they suggest you attach it doesn’t seem like such a good idea to me because baby could access it. I certainly wouldn’t put anything hot in it. I will probably forgo the included one and figure out a different solution.I was thrilled to learn that the base of this stroller WILL accommodate a click-in carseat/carrier! There is a list of 9 different brands and 26 different models of those brands Contour says will work. It folds up fairly easy for home or car storage. It takes a couple more steps than some of those that “book” collapse but once you do it a few times you get faster.I like this 4-in-1. It just feels really solid and secure and that is the most important thing. I can only give it 4 stars right now however. When new baby arrives in January I will come back and re-evaluate once I interact with him in it.
A Perfect 4 in 1 Stroller System for Infant – 40lbs
I love the look of this stroller by Contours Bliss. Its a great 4 in 1 stroller system. It is so versatile for any parent. Whether you want rear facing or forward facing, need a car seat to attach to it, or just the stroller seat, or bassinet style – all are right at your fingertips. The infant car seat adapter fits well over 20 different models. I like that your not stuck with just a particular brand or stroller system combo. You can choose what car seat you want.. and its more then likely to work with this stroller (of course just double check!)I love how you can convert the stroller without having to buy extra accessories. I really enjoy the convertible carrycot (bassinet look) as you can take it off and use it solo as well. The stroller comes with a padded infant insert for extra comfort. It has an expandable parent cup holder that holds drinks of anysize- we tried it with so many different size cups and all worked! The front wheels lock for uneven surfaces and safety. It also has an adjustable height comfort handle for pushing. It folds down to a compact size and weights in at 20.5 lbs.Expandable parent cup holder holds drinks of any size. YouTube Videos helped with learning how to the Pram
After receiving my Contours Bliss stroller I was very eager to open the box . As I opened the box everything was just how it looked online , beautiful . It took a maximum of 30 minutes to put everything together . No tools were needed and I was very pleased . Instructions were very well detailed however , I did get a little confused with how to put the pram down at different angles . After watching several youtube videos I was able to do it with no problem . Overall everything is very versatile and I love the fact there are so many car seats that are compatible with the stroller . I would definitely recommend to a family member or friend !
FEELS CHEAP AND BULKY WHEN FOLDED
After a lot of research I thought this was the perfect stroller. I liked the reversible seat, the seat convert to pram and the car seat adopter being included all for $400. However I ended up returning it and after more research getting the BJ city versa with GT tires. Here is why I returned the Bliss.1. BULKY WHEN FOLDEDI would not want to keep lugging it in and out of my trunk. It took up half of my station wagon trunk space. For the people who love it, they must drive giant SUVs or keep it at home. Yet the wheels aren’t good as a daily walk stroller. See below.2. PLASTIC WHEELSThe wheels are a good size but plastic. There is not option to upgrade the wheels to rubber unlike the City Versa. The wheels are also very thin and have no tread. I didn’t use it on my daily walk since I wanted to return it but I can’t imagine the ride being very good.3. MATERIAL FELT CHEAPThe convertible seat is a great idea but felt cheap. Also the only foot rest is on the seat only. Older kids have to fold their legs or leave them dangling. There needs to be a second footrest on the frame for taller kids.4. PAID FOR REVIEWSThe majority of reviews on the mommy blogs received the stroller for free and were running a raffle.5. CAR ADOPTER WOBBLYThe car seat adopter is universal so the car seat do NOT click into place. Instead you have to use the red belt which I was okay with. However even with the belt, the cat seat will wabble when I push it. It won’t fall out but would be very wobbly for the baby on walks.CONSIDER THE BABY JOGGER CITY VERSAI ended up getting a 2013 Baby Jogger City Versa which retails for the same price. But I found it for only $259 on Amazon! With the extra money I ordered the $60 GT tires. That’s still cheaper than the Bliss. The Versa has a one handed fold with the seat facing me and folds completely flat!Price was not the deciding factor for me. I was willing to go up to $700 but somehow ended but with a $300 stroller which I’m happy with. Sure I could have bought a Bugaboo which has amazing steering but at some point you are just paying for the brand and a little bit of extra that I don’t care about. It’s the difference between driving a Toyota vs Lexus. I can afford both but I like the value of the Toyota. I don’t need the smoothest ride money can buy. A fully loaded Toyota is perfect for me.I passed on the Uppababy Vista and Cruz because the handles on the lowest setting is too high for me. I’m 5’2.
