Great seat to create a double or triple stroller
I feel like I found this by accident, but I’m glad I did. I have 2 year old twins and a 1 year old, and I didn’t want to buy a triple stroller in addition to the double city select I already have. This is a great idea, it’s a seat that attaches to the back of the stroller and the seat is also removeable to make it into a standing board. Took a bit of time to set up, but now goes on an off easily if I don’t need the third seat. Based on kids’ reaction, it’s good for short trips but probably not very comfortable for either long trips or if kids want to look forward.Best suited for an older toddler since the seat back doesn’t provide a lot of support – and I have to keep an eye on whoever is sitting in the seat because they keep wanting to put their feet in/on the rear wheels.
Bought this from Zulily b/c it was half price. They do not accept returns unfortunately, but b/c so many of my friends swore by it I never thought i would have to worry about returning it anyway. I don’t know if it’s just my stroller (BOB), or my height (5’5″), or what but my feet constantly kick it and I have to lean way forward to reach the handles of our stroller. I so wanted to love this – it was my $60 fix to avoid buying a double stroller. Again, maybe someone with longer legs and a different stroller could make it work, but if you are 5’5″ and own a BOB I would make sure you buy this locally or from Prime so you can return it inexpensively.
Our 28 month old son LOVES this seat. Although the directions are written in the strangest way and make NO sense to anyone, you can figure it out if you’ve ever put together anything (which we all have if we have kids). You do kick it when you walk if you get to close, so stand back a bit, but it’s worth every penny.
It is nice for running errands. I cannot see it being to comfy for long walks. I have 3 kids under 3 and it works good for everyday errands. My 3 year old sits in it.
Works great with Quinny Zapp Xtra
We just welcomed our second child, and we loathed the idea of one of those giant, heavy, bulky double strollers. I was glad when I found this stroller board as a solution. I like that it has the option of a seat, so that younger kids don’t have to stand and get tired (or try to jump off a moving stroller!) the whole time. We live in Manhattan, and this is a very practical solution for City dwellers. The board was easy to assemble, and the customer service from Englacha was amazing. We had a slight problem with one of the wheels not fitting the screw/bolt, and I emailed customer service. I got a reply within the hour, and received a brand new wheel within 2 days! Awesome! We assembled the board to fit our Quinny Zapp Xtra, as we are travelling via train to visit grandparents this weekend. We needed the infant basket car seat for our trip, so this is a great way to travel: baby in the infant car seat, 2 year old on the rider board. I like that the chair has a harness so they can be secured in the seat. It is very durable (but quite heavy) and it turns amazing on the wheels. Only complaint is that I thought the wheels would be better quality ROLLLERBLADE type rubber wheels. They are hollow plastic. I hope they hold up, but if they don’t, I’m confident customer service will be available to help me out.
