Better than Bjorn!
I used this to nurse my baby to sleep for all naps. Had purchased the bjorn for newborns (white/grey with red trimming), but it only lasted for 8 weeks, wasn’t cheap, and was rather uncomfortable for me – the bjorn had no support! Conversely with the Ergo, my daughter was able to fit into this comfortably (for both of us) from 3 months to 14 months, and I even used it once for a 6 hour flight where she had to stay on my lap and I created a “sleep zone” for her. She was 23 months at that time, and though snug – it still worked!
GREAT Baby Carrier
This carrier is the best I’ve used so far. My son is a little on the heavier side, so this carrier makes him seem lighter. 🙂 The cloth is very comfortable and flexible so the baby is comfortable. The cover over the head is great if it’s too sunny or the baby is asleep. The straps and buckles are very easy to put on and off. We’ve used this carrier in the airport, walking around the city, in the train, etc. It’s very versatile. We LOVE this carrier! I’d highly recommend it to anyone.
Great product…My son loves it
This carrier is pricey but it was well worth it. In fact I got the ERGO items cheaper here at Amazon.com than in the local stores. I had another carrier and my neck and shoulders would get sore within 15 minutes.I’ve been using this ERGO carrier for about a months now. The ERGO carrier is so comfortable and I carry my son in it for hours. He loves the carrier also…When he is in the carrier, he eventually falls asleep. I also bought the infant insert, the sucking pads and the pouch. The insert is good if your baby is on the smaller side as it helps boost them up, the sucking pads are great so you don’t get the straps all dirty. I haven’t used the pouch yet but I figure it would come in handy when we go on trips so I don’t have to carry around my purse.I would definitely recommend this product
Couldn’t live without it
Life saver with an infant who has acid reflux. Use with the infant insert, then when baby is bigger, just put the butt pillow underneath baby. So comfortable, I still used when my son was 2 carting him around NYC. Only draw back is that baby can’t face out, but small price to pay for comfort for mom AND baby.
Life Saver and oh so soft!
I bought this for my sister who is expecting in December. I myself, have TWO other Ergos, the one is black for my toddler daughter and the one is organic brown for my newborn son. I still use both with both kids. My husband carries my toddler in the black one on his back and I carry my son in the front with the brown one. We are able to walk the beach with both kids in their Ergos. It’s pricey, but oh so worth it!!! I had to buy this one for my sister and was super happy when I found it on her registry. Note: The Organic Ergo Carriers ARE SOFTER than the non-organic (I have one of each kind). I also recommend getting the sucking pads so that you don’t have to wash the carrier too often, as my toddler’s has faded over many washes (it’s a black one). It also gets kind of moldy if your infant sucks on the straps and it doesn’t air out properly; another reason to get the sucking pads. I really like my brown organic Ergo Carrier because it has brown sucking pads and they are more “incognito”. My black carrier has the white sucking pads and they really stand out against the black straps. The Ergo Carriers are fabulous!I’m 5’2″ and I’m able to carry by infant without any problems (he’s 19 pounds) and my daughter is 32 pounds and my husband can still carry her (she’s two years old). Such a versatile product for all ages and stages of early childhood. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!
