- Removable, washable, and wipe able seat pad
- Soft touch armrests
- Flexible grip elastic cup holders
- Belt clip positions the seat belt for comfort and safety
- Vibrant colors will excite your child
I purchased 2 of these, blue for my son and pink for my daughter. We haven’t used them yet but I love the style and the colors are soooo vibrant. Seems like the cup holders will be good too because of the elastic strap, their drinks won’t fly out. The only downside I can think of is that the arms of the seat don’t pivot up and down and I’m used to being able to do that with other Evenflo seats to make it easier to use the seatbelts but I’m sure I’ll get used to it!
This is a great seat so far. Had to take a six hour trip with the family. My son didn’t complain once about this seat, he said it was comfortable. It was very easy to install. It isn’t heavy. The cushion probably has more padding than most. There is a little space for you to put extra padding in though. The pad is attached by four elastic bands at the bottom of the seat. That makes it very easy to remove when dirty. The arms are coated with nonslip rubber. The drink holders on either side have large elastic bands. They can fit a wide variety of drinks. All in all, this seat is a great purchase!
Perfect Booster Seat
We love this seat for my 5 year old! She loves sitting in it, it doesn’t take up a lot of space like her previous car seat, and she quickly learned to buckle herself in with the adult seat belt. This is a great buy, very affordable and will last for years!
My 4-year-old is still in a Britax car seat most of the time, but we recently took a plane trip and I didn’t want to lug it around with me in and out of the plane and rental car. So I picked this up for our trip and to hang onto for next year, when I’ll make the full transition. It was very handy– not a pain to pack at all (you can even pack it in your suitcase and put clothes on top of it if you have some room), very simple to put it in a car and adjust the shoulder strap, and a nice jazzy color that my daughter loved. Handy to have the simple cup holder elastics, too. The material is easy to clean and doesn’t have spots where “stuff” will get stuck.I was encouraged by the safety ratings, and very happy to see the price was affordable. The reviews are right: this one’s a winner.
For ages 8+
This does not offer side-impact protection because, well, it’s a low-back booster. It can be useful for ages 8 and up but I would not risk putting a child 7 or under in it as long as they fit in a high-back. The child also needs to know to stay in position the entire ride, every time.We use it for carpools with my 10-year-old and it works well. If the car does not have side air-bags, we opt for a high-back.
A good backless booster
This is good for a backless booster. We use it for my 5-year-old (45″ 41 lbs) when we fly as it is just smaller to lug around with everything else. It is very easy to use. I like the seat belt adjuster strap – helps me get the shoulder belt in the correct position. She also likes the cup holder (I like that there are two – so she can share one with her sister, and that they are flexible – so they hold juice boxes, etc). It’s easy to clean – just wipe down. The things I don’t like are just because it’s backless – she slumps really badly if she falls asleep in it, no head protection in a crash. If you’re looking for a backless, I highly recommend it.
Super product for the price!
This is the first backless booster seat we bought for my daughter and after reading many reviews we decided to order this seat. Once she tried she loved it. She can sit up high enough to see out of the back windows of our SUV and I can see her in the rear view mirror. Like the light weight handling and the fact is very easy to clean. Makes for a wonderful seat for a toddler!
Booster for younger brother
I sometime watch my younger brother and I hated lugging around the full booster from my mothers car to mine. I decided to just buy a cheap booster for when he rides around town with me. I chose this one because I liked the elastic on the side of the cup holder. Seemed more secure than the Graco one, I just see drinks spilling all over my leather seats. I also liked how the bottom was one flat piece. I just thought it seemed more sturdy. He loved the color and loves how comfortable it is. Can’t go wrong with this.
Serves its purpose
Very comfortable. My son likes it, it is made with a great color blue, and the cup holders work great!
I shopped around for a while as my daughter approached the height and weight requirements for a booster. Having looked at so many in person, at Target and Babies R Us, I know how cheap and flimsy some of them feel–so thin and hollow. Part of the reason I decided to get this one was due to the fact that it felt sturdier than others. For being a backless booster, it really is substantial-feeling. My daughter loved, loved, loved the hot pink, too, of course. Some folks have slammed the cup holders, but we adore them. They’re an example of minimalist design making for maximum function; because they consist of just that elastic strap, every single different size cup fits in there with ease, and stays snug enough that I’ve never worried about it tipping, but accessible enough that she doesn’t need help getting the cup in or out.My daughter was a few months shy of five years old and 42 inches tall when she started in this seat, and we had to use the shoulder clip that came with it, which was easy and stayed in place (we have a big SUV). I love that there’s a little storage slot under the seat for the clip when it’s not needed. Once the first kid outgrows the clip, you can store it there unobtrusively until the seat gets handed down to a sibling.
