Love this seat
I love the Evenflo booster seat. I really like the arm rest move. Most boosters don’t move at all. I love the cup and snack holders that slide out. My daughter loves to have a drink and a snack and this way she has a place to put both. We also have another Evenflo booster that is just like this seat that has lights on the headrest. We like them both so much.
doesn’t hold the seatbelt
Just want to repeat other reviewer: “The irritating thing about this item is the slit that is supposed to secure the shoulder strap doesn’t keep it in. It’s easy to slip the strap out, but very difficult to get it back in. I actually have to pull down on the bottom portion a little to open it enough to get the strap back in. Every time we get him buckled in…”YES! it is very very annoying.Plus kids turn on lights by their heads all the time and don’t even know about it. At night I walk near the car and see carseats lights on…
Best value and surprisingly good
After hemming and hawing between the cheap and sturdier models on Amazon, we went for this one. We were progressing from the Britax Roundabout and quite frankly were sick of spending all that money on items that would end up in a landfill in a few years anyway. We just wanted to be law-abiding parents and also make sure the diagonal seat belt didn’t go across our 4-year-old’s neck. The EvenFlo is great! Arms that lift up, two pull-out trays, easy to take the cover off and wash, compact, LIGHT and easy to move, easy to loop the seat belt through, and not monstrously ugly. The bonus is that the back can be removed. Contrary to some reviews, our child can sleep in it, because the back flexes into a more restful position when you tilt the car-seat back. We find many boosters to be over-engineered; e.g., the latch system, the submarining thing, etc. etc. seem unnecessary to us. The Evenflo is more than good enough and is priced fairly.
Buying a second one!
We purchased one of these a while back for our 4 yr old, and since having purchased another vehicle, this was the first seat I went to for our second booster. My daughter loves how comfy it is, (and the cup/snack holders make her feel like one of the grown ups) and I love how lightweight yet sturdy it is. Now, for our daughter to choose her second color choice. 🙂
not very sturdy
Got a new one, higher weight limit and height limit, the back is rickity after attachment to the seat. That was one of the reasons I got the one. The old one was an evenflow as well.
I got this for my 4 year old and she is tall, its a nice car seat for a good price and she love it!
Very happy with this
There isn’t anything I don’t like about this booster. It’s got cupholders on both sides, a cute design, and is priced well. It’s basic but is everything we need in a booster. My daughter likes it, too.
Comfortable and a nice transition from a car seat
We bought this for our daughter and she has been very comfortable in it. So far we are still using it with the back on it. She likes all the cup holders for her crayons, drinks, snacks etc. Fabric is nice and soft – microfiber I think. Nothing to dislike that we’ve found in about 6 months of using it.
Sturdy and Trim
My son loves the light feature and loves being in a booster. I love how light-weight it is, and how easy it is to transfer it from seat to seat, and vehicle to vehicle. And with three kids in safety seats, I also love how compact/narrow it is…allows more room for the other car seats.
My daughter loves her new booster seat. It’s lightweight but sturdy, as well as cute. She says it is comfortable too. The cup holder/snack holder is extremely handy. The snack holder is perfect to hold juice boxes or pouches.
Not many complaints
We bought this to replace our son’s older booster, and it seems pretty nice. It has cup holders on either side, but I was surprised to see that the outer “side” of the cup holder is actually an elastic strap. I guess that makes it easier for them to get it in and out? Not a big concern for me. The irritating thing about this item is the slit that is supposed to secure the shoulder strap doesn’t keep it in. It’s easy to slip the strap out, but very difficult to get it back in. I actually have to pull down on the bottom portion a little to open it enough to get the strap back in. Every time we get him buckled in. Most seat belts will ratchet and secure any leftover slack, but you have to pull the excess all the way out, then release it. The seat belt always comes out right then, which is so annoying. That’s my only real issue. Overall, I think it’s a great booster and am happy to recommend it.
I returned it. It was a real chore to put together. Harder to take apart for the return. It felt really cheap and did not seam like a good fit on my son. The belt got turned around in the threader. I really wanted to love it we have several other evenflo carseats but this was just yuk
