I’m giving up on these
First, they leak. They leak through the straw and they leak if the top isn’t twisted perfectly closed using a zillion tons of force. But with that, I can deal. The deal breaker for me is that my cat chewed 2 straws in two days…and I cannot purchase replacements. I simply can’t find them anywhere online. And I’m not going to drive all over town looking for them either. So while they worked well at keeping drinks cold, having to replace the entire bottle when all I need is a straw is annoying and costly. So I’m moving on to another brand…if I can find one.
Junk — Disintegrated after 2 mos
At first, I was super excited about this product. It keeps milk cold for 8 hrs, so it’s so much easier to hand to your child and not stress about how long it’s been out.BUT . . . the straw disintegrated under my son’s teeth. When I called Thermos, they told me too bad, and then they said that they don’t warranty the straw or the valve. When I asked for the woman’s name, she transferred me to a voicemail and hung up.So, also terrible customer service. Beware.
excellent sippy for my toddler
Best sippy product I’ve ever bought for my 3-yr old. Since it’s stainless, I know it’s perfectly safe for my child — no chemical residues, no BPA, no smell, easy to clean. IT doesn’t leak even when tipped over. Easy to clean, too. Keeps his drink cold for a long time (ice doesn’t melt even overnight!).
Keeps drinks COLD and easy to clean
I love the Foogo for my son. It keeps his milk cold ALL day (I add an ice cube), it’s easy for him to operate the lid and it’s a great size for kids about 14 months through preschool.I don’t like the plastic cap on the bottom. It just glued-on and chips, breaks or falls off with a few toddler tosses or drops. And what toddler doesn’t throw or drop their cup?!?This is the same product as the Thermos FunTainer – just different colors/designs, and you can often find the FunTainer cheaper. (we have 2)Teach your child to close the lid when done – if they don’t, it will leak. Also, check the straw often for holes or tears. Tots love to chew on the silicone straw and it will need replaced. It’ll leak if the straw has a small hole, and it can be dangerous if a chunk comes off.
Good but not great
This sippy is good because it keeps the drink cold longer than other cups, but I don’t understand how people say it doesn’t leak. It does! Another mom said the same thing; IF you close it then it won’t leak, AND it stays upright. However, if your toddler puts it down on its side, or tipped over with the top open it leaks ALOT and very fast! More than once my little guy has put his sippy down in this way and has gotten soaked in 2 seconds.
best thermos for kids
We love this thermos and our toddler son does too. Doesn’t leak and keeps liquid hot or cold. Just VERY hard to find. I’ve been waiting 2 months for a new one.
