Green Eats 2 Pack Tumblers, Blue

Green Eats 2 Pack Tumblers, Blue

Like all Green Eats tableware products, our colorful, reUSAble tumblers are made from 100% recycled plastic milk containers. This ultra-safe recycled plastic has no melamine, BPA, phthalates, PVC, or external coatings. Dishwasher safe too. Packaged using only recycled and recyclable materials. Each tumbler holds 12 ounces, is 4″ high, and has diameters of 3 1/2″ at the top and 2 1/4″ at the base. Available in packs of Blue, Green, Orange and Yellow. Each color sold separately. Dishwasher safe no melamine, BPA, phthalates, PVC, or external coatings saves energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. All green toys products are 100% made in the USA. To be more specific, they are produced in California, a state known for strict toy safety and environmental laws. It’s cool to buy USA, but also think about this, transportation is one of the biggest contributors to greenhouse gasses. We all know driving less is good for mother nature, but did you ever think about how many miles a toy logs before it ends up in your local store? Our toys are truly local creations. Every step in the process, from milk container recycling to toy production to final assembly, occurs in California. Our raw materials and toys aren’t shipped from overseas, which saves a lot of energy and reduces greenhouse gasses. It also guarantees your toys won’t get seasick before they get to your home.

Green Eats Tumblers a Hit!

I bought the Green Eats tumblers along with two round sectioned plates that match (one set for at home and one for Nanny’s house) for my three-year-old grandson. The plate is deep enough to make scooping his food easy, and he loves his big-boy cup!

Green Eats Cups

These cups are wonderful. They are sturdy, functional, great size, and colorful. My son loves them and loves to mix these with all the colors of the other Green Eats products that we bought for a colorful set at the table.

Not for tiny hands

I have been looking for small tumblers for Dragon Baby – ones that she can easily hold with both hands and kind of hold with one hand. These are too big. I like that the base is wide and the cup itself is fairly substantial (so that it doesn’t tip over very easily) but that also means the cup is too large for her to comfortably hold. They are also strangely slick and slippery (as another review has mentioned).

Good product

These cups are perfect. They are slightly larger than I expected, which will be good in the long run. Overall, they are great quality, as is everything from this company, and made in the USA.

Green Eats, good

I love this company’s products. Made in the USA and none of the bad plastics. They are expensive compared to other cups, but have held up well in the dishwasher and are just right for small hands.

Love them! Love the size! Perfect!

I was not sure what to expect with these cups, but they are amazing! I was thinking of purchasing some tupperware cups for my kids, but went with these because of a lower price and a greener footprint.First, the quality is top notch. We also have some snack bowls from Green Eats and we just love them. We have washed them many, many times and they are still in like-new condition. The size of the cups was the real surprise. They are wider than I expected, but because of their “chunkier” feel, they are MUCH easier for my 2 year old to pick up. All of my kids love them, and they are the quality I expected, which is exceptional.I highly recommend these cups!

Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers

Durable yet lightweight. Washes nicely in the dishwasher and dark juices don’t stain the plastic. My 19 month old is using them to learn to drink from a cup and they are a perfect size for my 3 1/2 year old.

Great company, great products!

Love these tumblers. Perfect size, great colors, easy clean. So much better than buying other plastics! Would definitely buy again

love green eats products

what I love about these tumblers is that they are made of food-grade recycled plastic, so I feel less guilty about buying them. Machine-washable, but not microwaveable.

Great cups!

These are great for my toddler who loves to throw cups. They are a perfect size for him to hold, they are BPA free, and I love that they are made from recycled materials. I’ve bought the bowls now too and have been happy with those as well.

Perfect size for little hands

Love this whole line of plates, cups and bowls. I didn’t think I’d get as much use out of them (I didn’t think the cup size mattered once my son transitioned). But I’ve found that I even enjoy using these to hold for my son as they are a nice small size in the awkwardness that goes along with teaching your child to use a cup. Great buy!

Works well, but a bit wide

Hard to tell where the liquid is in the cup, tips easily, mouth is a bit wide for our 2yr old. I’d buy again, but I’d look for a clear glass to be able to tell, were training him to drink from it and its hard to tell how much liquid there is in it when giving it to him by hand.

Perfect Size and Texture

I have been looking for soft plastic cups sort of like the 70s and 80s Tupperware cups that were really nice to drink out of as they have a smooth well molded lip, perfect size, and the texture is nice, not hard plastic and not flimsy either. My only hesitation with these are they are just a tad bit slick. Great quality, and the 12 oz size is a nice drinking size, 8 oz is too few and 16 oz too much.

Great cups!

These cups are great! They are a great size for our 4 year old (not to big, not to small), they do great in the dishwasher and I like that they are made in the USA from recycled materials without all the yucky chemicals that plastic has.

She Told Her Sippy Cups, “Bye bye!”

I received the tumblers two weeks ago to transition my 2-year old daughter from using sippy cups. The Green Eats tumblers made the transition easier than I could have imagined (it was pretty much instantaneous). From the first use, she was able to hold the tumbler using both hands and she has not yet spilled any liquid or dropped the tumbler on the floor or table. My only regret is I wish I had taken a video of the first time she used of the cup. After her first sip of JuiceWater (which is a homemade recipe of 3 parts water and 1 part white grape juice), she set her blue cup on the table and triumphantly proclaimed, “I am a big girl!” It was cuteness times infinity plus another infinity! She now uses her “Blue Big Girl Cup” at each meal: Breakfast; Second Breakfast; Elevenses; Luncheon; Afternoon Tea; Dinner and Supper. Okay, maybe not that many meals, but, at times, it seems like it.I was drawn to the Green Eats tumblers by the good reviews, because the product is made in the USA and is free of BPA phthalates, PVC and external coatings. I am very happy by the purchase as the tumblers are a huge success in our home. Because of the tumblers, my daughter no longer uses sippy cups (cue the she-is-no-longer-a-baby tears).

Not microwave safe! Which is really annoying.

I bought these to serve my daughter milk but she likes her milk warm so I have to use a mug to heat it up and then transfer it into this cup as it says on it not to use it in the microwave. It’s BPA, etc free so I assumed it would be ok to microwave, especially as everyone raves about it being safe in the dishwasher, but that is not the case. Then again, I’ve never owned plastic cups before so maybe all plastic cups aren’t microwaveable? Just wish it was mentioned in the description. My 15m old drinks water out of straw cups so this is now a useless product in our house. Also, they are quite big for toddlers.

Maura Ely, MN

We started our 8m old with the Doidy Cup (which is like this one only with small handles) and soon graduated to the Green Eats. They are perfect! He is now 14m old and drinks from them perfectly. We will never use sippy cups.

Fine cups, but wide.

These cups are well made and go through the dishwasher well, but are very wide. An older child might do better, but my three and a half year old has a hard time managing the liquid as the circumference of the cup is so wide compared to his mouth. It’s also hard for him to hold. Additionally, I should say that I bought these to use with a set of all in one cup lids from another green company. The kids did not fit on these cups, which is no fault of the cups, but should be noted.

These are big for a toddler

I wasn’t sure how big these were, and got them to replace our Munchkin plastic cups for my 2 year old. These are pretty big however, and probably more an older kid cup. I don’t like plastic for older kids however, so will just get the Munchkin cups for my toddler again.

Dorthy Cashtown, PA

Good for older toddlers

With all the controversy now about #5 BPA plastics being no better than old plastics, this is a great alternative. I wish they came in a slightly smaller size but for an older toddler or child it’s fine. Perfect size for elementary school kids. No warping in the dishwasher at all.

great cups

great cups. we used a smaller cup to transition from a sippy cup, and these were the next step. my toddler has had no problems.

Three Stars

These we much bigger than I’d anticipated.

Too big

Way too big for a baby just starting to use a cup or a toddler. Disappointed because exactly what I was l
