Very small but worked well for feeding 10-month old
Got these along with the snack bowls by the same company. For 10-month old grandson visiting for a few days. We were busy and liked having a number of these ready for whenever. They seemed to be the right size for feeding him and fitting in his mouth well.
Nice alternative to take and toss spoons
When my first baby started solids, i bought a few more permanent baby spoons, but quickly moved to the take and toss. It was more convenient to stash several in my diaper bag and then not fret if i left one here or there on a restaurant table. I must have lost enough that i needed a new supply. I decided to order these since they were a more green option. Im pretty pleased with them. They are wider, which works great for an older baby who eats thicker foods and bigger spoonfuls of things like yogurt and applesauce. It may be a little wide for a really small baby just starting out on solids, but they are nice and shallow which works well for both young and older babies. I like the cheery yellow color too.
Made in the U.S.A.
These utensils are the best! They are made of eco-friendly materials and made in the U.S.A. Makes us feel good about buying and using them. They are good for little hands. A little harder to use to feed your baby with, but good for them to learn with and use. I give my daughter one of these spoons to play and practice with while I feed her with a separate spoon (she is 7 months old). She loves to hold one of these spoons, as it makes her feel like a big girl involved in feeding herself. They are light-weight and wash very easily by hand or top rack. The plates, etc. are also great, and I let her play with the small plates and bowls (not the utensils, they could be a chocking hazard if used as a toy rather than for supervised eating), and she loves them in the bath to scoop up water. I would definitely buy these again. A great product!
Love love love these!
Prefect size little spoons for young toddlers just learning how to feed themselves. The short handle makes it easy for them to get (most!) of the food actually in their mouth :). I have a daycare and use these for all my young ones, they are GREAT!!
Nice spoons
Very nice little baby/toddler spoons. I bought these as a shower gift for my friend’s daughter, and they use them all the time.
The BEST Baby Spoons
I received a little set of Green Eats dishware at my baby shower and these spoons are THE BEST. I tried those soft tipped spoons from Gerber, but they don’t hold any food. These spoons have the perfect depth and capacity for feeding little mouths. I thought they seemed hard and rigid, but nope, my toothless little guy is happy to chew and suck food off these spoons. I was so glad to see these on amazon, thought I’d have to go to Whole Foods or some granola baby boutique. Yay for these spoons. The green eats snack bowls are great too!
Green Eats Spoons
These spoons are wonderful. They are sturdy, functional, great size, and colorful. My son loves them and loves to mix these with all the colors of the other Green Eats products that we bought for a colorful set at the table.
Love these spoons!
I was looking for some spoons that were made of safe materials for my 5 month old daughter, who just recently started on solid foods. These spoons really do live up to the positive reviews I read before I purchased them! They are well made, simple, & a good size for my daughter’s small mouth. Edges are nice and smooth as well. That coupled with a great price & nice organic materials, I am sold on this brand and plan to purchase the forks when my daughter is ready for them!
Eco-friendly, sturdy, affordable
Great size for little hands. One piece construction. Made in USA of recycled materials. Good price. What’s not to love?We love Little Green Toys and these spoons are included in that love. They’re great for feeding time and play time (they’re the same spoons in the toy dining set). We like that there are 8 so that we can always have a few handy at home by the high chair, as well as in the diaper bag for eating out, and can cycle through when they inevitability end up on the floor.
Great spoons for new eaters! Also made in USA which is great!
So happy I found these spoons. I tried a silicone one with my son, but it was too floppy and food got everywhere. The shape of these works well and it’s easy to scoop up the food that gets on his face. The handles are a little short, so if you have very big hands they might be hard to maneuver at first. I really like this ecofriendly company and their products so far!
Does the job but handle is too short
These work out great for us. They are great quality. I love that they are made in the US from 100% recycled plastic milk containers.I do wish the handle was a little bit longer, but otherwise, I am happy with them.**update**These were the first spoons I used to feed baby. I have since purchased a pack of ikea baby spoons and have to say that I like them a lot better because of the longer handle and ergonomic shape of their spoon. When the handle is short, food is more prone to get on it and on to my hands. Although, not surprisingly, the ikea is a bit cheaper in material so I expect that this product will last longer. I’m still satisfied but they should consider elongating the handle.
Blah!
I know… made in USA, recycled material etc.. but these are not really usable esp for an infant.. (handle too small and was looking for something softer that he can bite) maybe once he grows up!
