Love it – only problem is she cant sleep with out it, now!!
Well, this product makes repeat customers – once the kids are hooked, they have to have it to sleep!! We are now on our 4th, so beware, they are so soft and inviting, it is hard to get them off of them once they love them.
Baby really likes this blanky. The first day she got it she laid around with it all night. A good buy.
Daughter can’t sleep without it
This product is well made. We purchased two so that we could wash one and have the other for my daughter to use. It has held up well after being washed every other week for over a year. The texture is silky on one side and then soft and furry on the other. No shedding. My daughter can’t sleep without it.
Lopsy Lamb vs Spunky Dog
My son has had this Gund Lopsy Lamb Blanket since he was a newborn. I didn’t let him sleep with it until he was closer to 1 due to suffocation issues but it was always around for him to see or play with. I chose the blanket style because I figured it would be easier for him to sleep, cuddle and lay with at night. My son is now 2.5 years old and loves his lamb. He sleeps with it every night and drags it around the house. I tried to replace this lamb with the Blue Spunky Dog when he was 1.5 years old because the lamb was starting to look old but he wouldn’t have it. It’s been a year since he’s has the spunky dog but he still shows no interest. After owning both for awhile now, here are my observations:1. The Lamb is lighter in color and therefore will look dirty.2. The Dog actually feels softer than the lamb on the top side of the blanket but not on the underside. The top fabric on the dog feels like short soft microfiber. The fabric on the lamb is longer and feels a bit rougher.3. The underside of the lamb is fully lined with a silkier fabric but the dog is not. Only the paws on the dog have the silky fabric.4. In my opinion, the lamb is cute but the dog looks cuter.I believe there are 2 major factors why my son likes the lamb over the dog.1. He enjoys the silky underside on the lamb. When he cuddles with it, he always rubs his face into the silky fabric.2. This is a big one… he prefers the lamb because it’s his first and he’s more attached to it.Both of them are good in their own ways but if the Spunky dog was fully lined with the silky fabric, it would have been perfect!Update- I’ve had this or almost 3 years now and have never experienced pilling or fibers coming off after washing. It is definitely not as soft as before but my son still loves it.
My 21 month old has had this lovey since he was 6 months old. The original one was 18″ and we upgraded him to a 24″ when he turned one. Now we have a total of 4 of the them, all exactly the same! That’s how much this little lamb means to him and we don’t dare to not have one in hand when it comes to nap time or bedtime. And one of his lambs lives at daycare during the weekdays and comes home for a bath on the weekends to be taken back to daycare with him on monday! Would definitely recommend!
Great for newborns
We are trying to give our newborn tummy time and time on his back and this it the best solution for him because it’s soft and he likes to feel the fabric on our skin. We managed to have our little one on this for over an hour today and he was a very happy little boy!
