Cute, warm blanket, wrong sizing
This blanket works for our needs. It is cute and warm and keeps our daughter covered all night long. The sizing is way off on these though. I bought this medium size for a 19 month old and she can still barely walk in it. I would not get a bigger size unless you have closer to a 2 year old. Some other things to note.1. I wish the elastic around the ankles was a little tighter. They are two times too big right now.2. The fleece looks matted after just a couple washings.3. There shouldn’t be any of these problems for how expensive this product is. I wish they would lower the price or make improvements to the product.Overall though, it is worth it to me to have a safe blanket option.
Horrible
I bought the size large which is for 12-18 months and 22-28 lbs. My 9 month old is currently 23 lbs and this thing is huge. I am posting a picture of my almost 4 year old who is 40 lbs and 42 inches tall wearing it. I think this product is ridiculous and a waste of money. I’ll stick with warm pjs and a light blanket.
My daughter loves these!
My little one will got and get her sleep sack and hand it to me when she’s ready for bed. She loves it!
Nice & Warm, Beware of Sizing Guidelines
Sizing is definitely off. My 18 month old is 31” tall and wears the medium, otherwise he would trip. Also, he has a little room to grow. The large might be better on a big 2 year old or even a small 3 year old. Since my son is in the 90% percentile by height. Otherwise the medium one keeps him nice and warm and it is easy for him to walk in.
WAAAAY TOO BIG!
Returned the large because it was ridiculously over sized. The medium really isn’t much better. I am not sure what the point of this product is. By the time they are big enough to use it, they are old enough to keep their covers on. Oh well, the quality is great, but the sizing is way off.
Awesome fort little night walker
This is perfect and just what I was looking for to keep my little guy warm at night. He likes to walk around his crib and I was worried about him tripping in the regular sleep sacks. It does run on the larger size as the other reviews said, but I just got a size smaller than the normal sleep sacks and it’s fine. I can’t find these anywhere so I’m glad amazon has them!!
Well worth the price
These SleepSacks are wonderful. My twins are walking but still need to be warm at night in their chilly rooms. These Sleepsacks are perfect. They are super soft and snuggly and keep them nice and warm. They are a little big, which I am happy about because they will last us the winter and then some. Well worht the price and difficult to find in stores.
pretty
Get this for gift giving!! it is quite pretty and a different design from regular Halo walker sleepsacks. We have used Halo sleepsacks for over a year are are very happy with the quality of the product and the with comfort it provides our child.
awesome
I love this product. Affordable, practical and good for ALL seasons because in NYC our air conditioning gets pretty cold at night.
It’s on the big side for any indicated age group
I think the idea is to make it so big that the baby’s entire body can befitted in, with her legs stretching out a little bit.But it’s unnecessary to incorporate the whole body if put on top of a footed PJ.My child is 22 months old I bought a medium size it still looks huge. She’s a normal sized baby, weights around 22-23 lbs.Medium size is for child under 24 lbs, large size is for 22 lbs to 26 lbs.Doesn’t make much sense for buying large size for two very close weight groups.
Cut BIG
The size difference between this and the next size down is pretty big! My daughter is just wearing the regular sleep sack. The leg holes also seem very wide, and her feet will slip through very easily. Hopefully she can still use it by the time she fits in it
Order size or 2 down
I am so glad I read the reviews, or I would have purchased an XL for my 18 month old. He is in the 90th per for height, and 30th for weight for reference. I bought a size M (6-12 mths) and it fits perfectly! There is no growth room in the chest, but the length is perfect. It should fit for the next 2 months, and I am okay w/ that given the price and to keep him warm. The L would be too long, but would fit better in chest. Not made to proportion, but would still buy again. SIZE DOWN!
Great Product
I have had great experiences with the Halo fleece blankets so far. Decided to try the walker as my baby was getting more mobile. The walker version is a little long for the size recommendation, but i haven’t found that to be an issue. My baby is happy and comfy in it. She is 7.5 months now and rolls to her belly and back without issues. The upper part of the blanket fits perfect over her chest and arms, so I am happy with the fit.
Wonderful product will buy again.
Keeps my baby warm without the chking hazard. I love it. Fits him perfect just use the sze tag will buy more in future
sizing is off
very disappointing. I always used HALO sleep sacks but this one was way too big. I had to return it and bought another brand.
must have
This is a must have if you live in a cold climate area. My child is 13 months old weighs almost 23 pounds and is 30" long. The fit is perfect and she has been wearing to bed since she was 12 months and began to cruise around holding onto her crib railing. The feet openings allow her to safely move around and not trip. I have washed it several times and it has washed well and the quality is nice also the fabric is soft.
Runs wayyyy too big
Runs wayyyy to big, so beware when shopping.I wish they made it in cotton, as my son tends to overheat so we only use it when is really really cold in CA.
Love this product
My son cannot stay put when he sleeps. With regular blankets, I’ve had issues with him pulling them over his head. I’ve been using this since he was 3 months, now he’s 16 months and I still use it.Would recommend it to everyone with young children!
It’s good for what it is
I love our deedee sleep nest for my 1 year old son, but he is very active, and soon probably won’t tolerate being in a sleep sack. I do have an extra halo in a size large for when the deedee is in the laundry, and this is exactly the same size just with the foot holes added to the bottom. The foot holes are wide, but since the point is for the baby to get their own feet out, I guess they would have to be. Honestly, there aren’t that many options for walker sleep sacks, so I would still buy this again…
Pretty good!
It is somewhat large but I guess it needs to be so the child is comfortable sleeping in it.The material is not too heavy so you still need a onsie or a long sleeve under shirt under it.I give it a "buy" rating!
Warm blanket.
Great blanket. I was worried about the fit due to the reviews but ordered according to company recommend sizing and fits wonderfully. This blanket allows my daughter to stand in her crib in the morning and not trip on her blanket like she does with the standard halos.
Comfortable and warm
My baby kicks off everything when he is sleep and this is the only solution. Love to have it and feel no worry now.
Very nice sleepSack but too large
I have a 14 month baby girl and her length(height) is about 90 percentile among all the kids at her age. I bought the large size for her (according to the size chart). However, we found it is too long for her.
