Better than a blanket
I love the HALO sleepsacks! This is the fourth one I have bought. I had 2 smalls and 3 mediums as my baby grew. They are great because they give her the extra warmth of a blanket but she can’t get caught up in it and suffocate. I am just getting ready to purchase the larger size for her as she is getting just about to big for the mediums. I will continue to use the HALO sacks until she is at least 1 if not longer. It has been integrated into her nap and bedtimes so she knows that it about time to sleep when she gets zipped into her sleepsack. Definitely recommend them for all babies!
good mobility in it, lighter in weight (not too warm), zipper hasn’t broke
This is better for summer of daycare naps because it’s lighter in weight and therefore doesn’t sleep as warm as others. We still use this to this day (daughter is 1 currently at about 20 pounds). I’ve never had an issue with the zipper getting stuck.
Good quality but runs large
These run a little big compared to other sleepsacks that we have. However the quality of the fabric is good and the kiddo can always grow into it.It definitely keeps a squirmy baby covered at night when swaddling doesn’t work.
I like it!
It is light weight and roomy. Might look big but it allows baby legs to move around and does not restrict movement.
Love this product!
Halo sleepsack are so much better then the "traditional" sleep sack. This one my daughter sleeps in during summer time with just a onesie on and it’s perfect,
Love my sleep sacs. Have both swaddling and non and love them both. Really love the fact my little girl has the leg room so she can bend and frog leg when wanted.
My daughter and I love this sleep sack. Very well made, washes up perfectly, and fits as expected. Will be ordering larger ones as she grows for sure.
Just What You’d Expect
We really like the HALO sleepsacks for our infant daughter. I wish they had a two-way zipper for putting it on her, but it’s really not that big a deal once we got used to it.
Liked It Much
HALO sleepsacks are great. This was a second summer sleepsack for my baby so we’d have 2 in rotation. The only thing I didn’t like as much about this one (hence 4 stars) was the flower applique. It was very pretty but a tad too close to her face. She would lower her head and stuff it against her mouth/nose all the time, so I ended up taking it off. After that, perfect sleepsack!
Cute and very handy
These sleepsacks are great for young babies. You can put short or long-sleeved onesies underneath so it’s great for the spring/summer transition. She can kick her legs and stretch out and nighttime changes are a breeze. We’ll definitely order more when she grows out of this one!
Great for spring/fall
Little one was had just stopped being swaddled and needed another layer without using a blanket. This worked perfectly. Washed well and continued to help her sleep through the night warm enough, without overheating.
Beautiful and Warm
This sleepsack works great for winter since you aren’t able to put a blanket on your baby. We worried about her getting cold so we bought this and she loves it. We tried over sleepsacks that bundle her arms but she likes to have her arms free. We put a long sleeved onesie on her and she doesn’t get too hot or cold, its perfect.
useful and quality product
Soft, mid-weight fabric is perfect for most nights in place of a blanket. Lots of room for baby to kick and move around and the medium size has a long lifespan as baby grows.
does what it should
keeps baby girl warm and safe – cute stylish wearable blanket, back is best! doesnt over heat her. two more words
Good Sleep Sack
This Sack has held up to use at daycare. We thought it would be good for our daughter and help her be comfortable. It has not disappointed and been very durable. It does not have any durability issues after 6 months of use.
Love these sleep sacks!
Good quality zipper, and does the job. My kid sleeps in one every night. This one isn’t too heavy, so I use it with fleece jammies. I also have a fleece sack I use with cloth jammies.
Single sided zipper
Upon reading many reviews, it appears Halo is the most popular sleep sack on the market. However, one miss is that the zipper can only zip one way. I chose the Summer Infant sleep sack instead since you can zip from top down (for dressing) or bottom up (for diaper changes), thereby making it easier and less disruptive to your baby. The cotton on Summer Infant is also a little softer than Halo.
Cute but not entirely practical
If it had to re-order, I’d choose one without the flower applique. It’s sweet, but my baby chews on it and the front of the blanket is always clammy and wet.
Great for this time of year. I prefer the breathable 100% cotton rather than all the fleecy products so I know my baby isn’t too warm this spring.
My son sleeps in a Sleepsack every night. He’s a tall 6 month old but these medium size still seems really big. I’m sure he’ll grow into it and it is a great weight and cute fabric.
Great when you stop swaddling.
I’ve used these on both my kids now to help transition out of the swaddle. Getting zipped into the sleepsack before nap and bedtime becomes part of the routine and helps put them to sleep. I needed another because I like to have two incase of leaks and messes. I really love these, they’re super cute, well made and keep my kids warm!
Quality not quite as great as other Halo sleep sacks I own. It’s pretty thin, feels a little cheap, not very soft. But it probably would work ok for warm summer nights.
I like that once these are on baby, they zip up from the bottom so that it is possible to change a diaper without completely undoing things.
How did we survive without these?
I love the sleepsacks! They are a great weight, soft and they wash up very well. I have no idea how my first child survived without these.
Worked very well to keep my daughter comfortable when sleeping
My daughter needed a sleep sack for daycare. This was a perfect option since she will be wearing full clothes underneath and the summer time will be coming soon. Light weight material, perfect for late spring or summer. I would not recommend for winter time-not thick enough.
I Love this product. Its Safer than a blanket. I Highly recommend it. I give them out as gifts too.
perfect for spring weather
fits great and keeps baby cosy during the night, good for spring weather with pajamas and in summer will use it with just a bodysuit on baby. she can’t kick it off like the swaddle. much safer than loose blankets, highly recommended. we just ordered two more.update: after much use I noticed they do shrink in the dryer slightly and the pink graphic flower one was a couple inches shorter than the other patterns we ordered.
Bought these in multiple colors and sizes. We like to keep our now 8 month old little boy covered up at night. These short sleeve sacks offer enough warmth over long sleeve pjs. And, the fact that they zip down make early morning diaper changes easy and keep him from chewing on the zipper like he does on the versions that zip up.
Nice and soft / pliant. My little one is perfectly comfortable in this, and the reverse-direction zipper works great. So glad I found this!
