VERY BIG! And Warm. Washed well.
I got this for my little boy and I got it a size larger thinking because he is quite tall this would fit him into next year (he’s wearing 24 month clothes now and just about going to be into 2T soon.) Well let me tell you that my very skinny 8 year old can wear this, although his calfs stick out the holes at the bottom half way but he is 49″ tall and 49 pounds. He swims in this, he could be a lot fatter and still get in it, but yes his legs are too long.Anyway the point I am trying to make is this is HUGE. My littler son won’t be wearing this next year but maybe the year after, but I suspect it will still be big then. In the mean time my older son does LOVE it. He says it is so warm and comfortable. He has asked if he is careful with it if he can wear it until his younger brother can fit better in it. So who am I to argue. So buyer beware – this thing runs large – but it is very good thick material and warm. Good quality construction. You will not be disappointed. I saw some other reviews about washing that were negative – I did not have those issues.
Best blanket ever!!
I’ve bought the HALO Sleepsack since my daughter was 6 months old and I love it. It fits perfect and i don’t have to worry about my child feeling cold at night. My child is 2 yrs old now and I can’t think of a better blanket for her. Love It!
The Only Way My Son Will Sleep
I am lucky enough to have a 2.5 year old son that is STILL in a crib (not a toddler bed). Even though he’s not getting in and out of bed on his own, he still walks around while brushing his teeth, getting ready for bed, and reading bedtime stories so his own sleepsack without leg cutouts wasn’t working anymore. When Santa brought this under the tree this Christmas, he was SO excited. Now he could still snuggle up in his sleepsack but he could also walk around in it. No more potato sack hopping around! This makes him feel like a big boy while still having the same comforts of a sleepsack.
Doesn’t fall off like a blanket
Both my kids wear sleep sacks to bed. And now that they are walkers, I like these toddler sleep sacks with the feet holes. Blankets never worked for us, so I am thankful for products like this to keep my kids warm all night long.
perfect sleep sack for my 3.5yr old
nice sweatshirt material – warm but not too hot, also doesn’t seem to pill upon multiple washings. large in size, would probably fit a 4 yo with no problems. excellent quality. highly recommend!!
Great quality, but really large!
We’ve been a longtime fan of HALO sleepsacks since our firstborn was an infant, so when I learned about sleepsacks for toddlers, I decided to look into it. My son is really into cars and in particular, Lightning McQueen from Disney’s Cars movies, so this sleepsack was perfect for him. The sleepsack is very thick and made from good quality. The biggest surprise I had upon opening the package was how enormous this sleepsack is for a two year-old. It’s quite large even for a three year-old. I guess the upside is that there’s room for him to grow into it. It’s fine for sleeping in it, but drags when he tries to walk around in it, which kind of defeats the purpose of the leg holes.
Gotta Love Halo!
We have some fleece Halo sleep sacks for toddlers – and this is a great mid-weight option. It is made with sweatshirt material so it is heavier than the mesh but lighter than the fleece. Bonus, it is decorated really cute with attention to detail! This would make a great gift for some one with a toddler! Washes up great too!
Works great to keep my son warm all night and not have to worry about the blankets falling off of him. We also bought this to keep him in his crib because he would not be able to lift his legs out of his crib. This worked for a short time, but our little guy figured it out. It so far has kept him from being able to climb the baby gate out of his room. He is 23 months old.
Great ‘next step’ when moving on from original sleep sack
We’d had our son in sleep sacks since he was about 3 months, and now that he’s moved from a crib to a toddler bed we wanted something that wouldn’t trip him up when he woke up and climbed out of bed. The 2T size is definitely big on him (he just turned 2), but as long as we get his feet through the cuffs at the bottom he can walk freely without tripping. The fabric is very soft (fleecy on the inside, sweat-shirt like on the outside)and is great for winter nights when paired with the fleece footie pajamas. Only wish this fabric/weight came in more colors!
If you still want a sleep sack for your toddler, get this one
My two year old has never been into blankets. I feel a little silly still using a sleep sack for her, because I also have an infant who wears one. But HALO is the best, and this sleep sack keeps her warm, and I don’t have to worry about her kicking a blanket off in the night and getting too cold. (Or worse, her waking me up in the night because she is cold). It also prevents her from taking her pj’s off, which has happened a time or two. She likes this one because of the cute Cinderella picture. It’s thick and warm–so great for cooler weather, but not good in the summer.
