We love Halo sleep sacks!
As soon as my son starting breaking out of his swaddle we got him a sleep sack. His first was a small fleece one and he loved it. He quickly grew though so at 16 lbs and 26″ he moved into a Medium. We have two now, this one and a lighter cotton sleep sack. When he wears warm fleeces pjs we put him in the cotton sack and when he’s in more breathable pjs we use the fleece one. They have now been laundered several times and have held up very well. And we love the Winnie the Pooh pattern, very cute.
We loved it and used it a lot
I wished that had options with sleeves but nonetheless, during the winter we would have our baby wear a long sleeve underneath and it has been great for our baby.
So cute and soft
Adorable sleep sack. Still fits my 11 month old and probably will for a few months. Warm, but not too warm.
We love the Halo Sleepsacks. We own 4 of them from Halo and they all look very cute and are a great safe way of keeping your baby warm at night. As far as the sizing information, I find the length to be more appropriate than the weight on this item. Our baby is long and lean, and she does not fit in the small size anymore (up to 18 lbs – she only weighs 15 Lbs). I would say the small size fits up to 26 inches long (regardless of weight), then it’s time to move to the medium size (which would seem to fit a baby up to 30 inches long).
I absolutely love Halo SleepSacks. This particular sleep sack has great embroiderer on the front. It fits my son well and allows for easy diaper changes. Due to the size, it also makes it easy to change the baby in and out of it during fussy times.
HALO Fleece version for the winter
The Sage Pooh characters are adorable. The fleece is warm but comfortable. This is an excellent alternative to blankets to keep my baby safe while he sleeps. He’s not a newborn anymore and no longer likes to be swaddled so this allows him to freely stretch his legs if he wants to. He’s not old enough for me to feel comfortable leaving him with a blanket so this was a simple solution. It’s very easy to put on and has easy access to unzip the bottom for diaper changes. I’d prefer if it came with long sleeves, but since it doesn’t I just dress him in a long-sleeved onesie before putting him into the HALO sleepsack.Note: A couple months ago I heard on the news that there was concern about the zippers on some of these HALO sleepsacks being unsafe since some do not come with a closed eyelet. I checked when mine arrived and it had a zipper eyelet that was sealed closed.
super cute, zipper is loud
The version we received has a really loud zipper. We’re able to Shhh our way over it if he’s sleeping, but it’s really kind of disappointing. Otherwise we love it.
Warm and spacious for kicky babies
We have the small and she still fits into it at 25.5 inches and 16 pounds. We just bought the medium and she can have a dance party in it with the amount of room at her feet. Warm and a must have for cooler climates.
This is such a great baby blanket! I wish I had two! I didn’t expect the embroidery to be as big as it is. I like it! Great buy. No more kicking off blankets!
Helped us out of swaddle!
I bought this to help my daughter transfer out of a swaddle at naps and bedtime. It worked great! The material is soft and there is a flap of fabric on the inside to keep the zipper from touching the baby. I love that it zips from top to bottom and it keeps my daughter warm at night. I just bought a cotton one for the spring!
My daughter transitioned so easy out of her swaddle at 8 months with this sleepsack. I was sure it would be hard for her to get used to her hand being free, but she did great. This is a great product until they start to crawl. She got twisted and frustrated in it at 10 months, so we quit using it. For those 2 months it was perfect though. The material is soooo soft and cuddly.
cute and cozy
This blanket is cute and warm enough for winter. Maybe the fleece is not the best quality but overall is a great product.
Great product and looks cute
Cute looking sleepsack. Great for a girl. Fleece is heavier and warmer than the cotton version, so we bought it for the winter.
Just a warning – this is one HUGE sleeper! I bought the medium since my son is a hefty baby, but this will probably work until he’s 18 months! That’s great! I love products that work now and will work later, too! It’s made well and super cute, too. An excellent buy!
Baby doesn’t like swaddling?
I wrote the following review for the plain blue Halo SleepSack:”If your baby is anything like mine and does not like to be swaddled, this sleep sack is the perfect alternative. It is thick enough to keep baby warm, but not so warm that baby over-heats. It is very soft and does not scratch baby’s skin. The zipper works top down so that baby cannot open the zipper themselves and makes for very convenient diaper changes. It doesn’t bunch up around baby’s neck either, so you can rest assured that baby is safe at night.”This Disney Sack is basically the same item, but much, much cuter! It is my favorite sleep sack by far!
