Magical Potty Chart
Pretty sure this potty chart has some sort of magical powers. My 2 year old daughter was NOT interested at all in using the potty.. actually it was a meltdown everytime we tried. Got this chart and literally, within 3 days, she was completely potty trained!! The stars we a huge deal to her. When she filled her whole chart, she got to pick a prize ($1 items) from the reward box. We used the chart for a little over a week and now she is peeing like a pro!! Finally, something that actually worked for us!
The actual chart was a pretty flimsy and arrived bent. I didn’t have time to send it back and receive another one but that may be an isolated issue. Also, the chart is a little confusing for kids (Ha! And a little for me too!) My son was a later trainer, being 3.5, and he just didn’t need to go as frequent as the chart shows so he didn’t understand why he wasn’t getting stars if he didn’t have to go (wouldn’t try because he didn’t need to). Overall I think this tool did help but I would just put lots of stars on for a visual for him to see a completed chart at the end of the day. Also, the certificate was a big hit, he was so proud to receive it but you could very easily create that yourself.
Really like it
The book is super cute that comes with it. My daughter loves reading it. She also loves putting her stars up on the board.
potty training made easy!!
Rewards instead of candy and toys are the way potty training should be done. This board offers comfort for my daughter who’s two1/2. She enjoys seeing her stars everyday. These reward stickers give children a real sense of accomplishment! Recommend to all
Nice chart but way overpriced
I really do like the reward chart. It sticks to the fridge and has velcro stars to put up each time they sit on the potty, go potty, etc. I think it is cute and it actually worked for my son! Trust me we had a hard time and this was great. I tried making my own reward charts, I tried a sticker thing and bribed him with Hershey kisses, etc.. That said, the price is way too high. The book and certificate aren’t very useful – I really only wanted the chart and stars. The other thing I will mention is that there are exactly enough stars to fill all of the spots, no extras. We didn’t lose any but I am sure people do (like under the fridge!).
