Not what I expected
Very sorry to report that those blankets look a lot different in reality than on the pictures. The colors are very washed out and the overall quality is poor. Blankets are very thin but large. I only hope the wearable blankets and pouches aren’t made of the same material :-S
JJ Cole Muslin Blanket
I live in a country where the weather is usually hot and I believe this is just the right type of material for summer, hot humid weather. The baby will not get too hot when swaddled. The material is soft and you can see your hand shadow thru the material. Very breathable. I love the bright colorful prints on it too! It’s also very big! Later on you can use it as a blanket. You can cut it and sew it into small pieces for burp cloths too! I have washed it once and so far it still looks new.
great for swaddling, thin and airy for nursing covers, too
This is a very versatile blanket. It’s big, lightweight, airy, and soft. I used it for swaddling in the beginning, to throw over my shoulder while nursing, and to just wrap baby up in when I wanted him in a lightweight blanket. it’s great for those of us in hotter climates. The colors are vibrant and they are really soft. They shrink up and wrinkle a bit when washed and that gives it a nice feel. I have 2 and wish I had more!
Cool prints!
I am glad I bought these beautiful blankets . Light and airy! My young son likeS to chew on it. Good blanket for hot weather and warm for cooler weather. Good cover up for nursing! Less expensive than the other Muslin brand blankets. Must have for new mommies!
Wonderful!
We used these so much for swaddling our little one during the first two months. Perfect size and weight. We still use them for everyday blankets (stroller, carseat etc). Beautiful colors for our boy. Perfect!
huge stretchy thin baby blanket
This blanket is huge, even bigger than the other brand of muslin blanket that is popular. It is big enough to swaddle my 6 mo old baby that wears 12 -18 mo size clothes, but the fabric is too stretchy to really restrict his movement, and he is able to move his arms around within the swaddle (this isn’t too much of a problem). I think this would be almost too big to swaddle a very small baby, as I still have extra blanket even with my big guy. The fabric is thin, which is good for spring/summer months. Bright colors are fine.
