2 year old in twin bed

Our 2 year old has adjusted well to his twin bed and this bed rail has helped him stay securely in place without a problem. It is a little tricky to get adjusted at first (my husband has much longer arms so I had him help me get it adjusted under the mattress). After a few months of use still seems very sturdy. I’ve had to wipe a few dirty fingerprints off of it, so I’m not sure how dirty it might eventually look if it lasts until kid 2 or 3 comes along, but no complaints so far.

Worked on King-size platform bed

When I ordered a platform bed I hadn’t planned on how to keep my son in (he is 4, afraid of the dark and comes in all the time to sleep with us). This bed rail, although not perfect, is certainly good enough to fit the bill. My only caveat is that the rail sits on a ledge on the side of our bed’s frame and I had to swerve the supports to lay on top of the bed slats (my issue is that the bottom of the rail, rather than being a perfect "L" shape that can just sit on the slats, has about a 2" space – more like a upside "t" – so we had to sit the bottom on the rail on the frame of the bed and then angle the legs of the rail so they sat on the slats) but overall it is secure, looks nice and is holding up just fine.

Works on a Pottery Barn Kids Platform Bed

I bought this for my three year old when he transitioned to a twin size bed. It’s a little awkward in his platform bed but I just position the rails on the wooden slats and the weight of the mattress holds it in place. I’ve been really happy with this so far and it wasn’t hard to install.

Used on a daybed without a box spring

Very strong and secure, no box spring required to hold it in place. My toddler has always preferred the bed to the crib conversion and this helps make it safe and secure for sleeping. We love it.

Perfect for platform bed!!!

Perfect for platform bed. Only guard rail I could find that accommodates a platform bed or any bed with a lip on it. Set up took about 5 minutes. Clear and easy to understand instructions. Good quality material that i believe will last a long time. I have a very active 2 year old who tosses around in bed. Been in use for one month and my child gas not fallen out of bed. Perfect length for a twin bed…Any longer it would be difficult for a child to get I and out of bed. Excellent product all around!!

False and misleading photo – horribly ugly black warning text takes up 30% of the outward-facing fabric

Not much annoys me more than a product that is made UGLY by the lawyers. Except having the marketing people sell me a product based on a fraudulent photo that doesn’t show the warning text. The entire lower 30% of this bed rail is printed with dark black legal warning text. Due to the way the supports are pinned to the rail, there is no way to turn it around either. (Which wouldn’t help that much anyway, since the fabric is semi-transparent, so you can see the black text from either side.
