perfect for several uses

I bought these to use as a pad on the changing table, however they are so big that I also use them in the baby’s crib. I use them as traveling changing pads as well.

Many uses but don’t wash well

Versatile pad because of their larger size – I mostly use them as changing pads but they also work in the bath and as extra padding between the skimpy mattress and the sheet in the bassinet, but they don’t stand up well in the wash. They pill and snag so badly you can’t use them again until you cut all the strings and lumps off – some of the loops are big enough for baby to get hands and feet caught – and it’s too much for a pill remover to deal with. I’m hoping they’ll get to a point where there just isn’t anything left to snag, but I imagine that will leave too thin to use for much else than changing pad covers.Update 11/30/2007 – these have now completely worn out after 3-4 months of use and washing a couple of times a week. The vinyl waterproof layer inside has broken down and any spills soak straight through. However they did prove pretty durable despite the pilling problem (I constantly get my nails caught in them when picking baby up) so I will buy more if I can find them.

Good function but, lots of pills

These pads are great for protecting surfaces but, pill so badly (even when air-dried only) that they become very unattractive after one washing. Still, very functional for newborns.

Great pad, not so great in wash.

I added them to my baby registry and am I happy I did. I use these all the time. They’re soft enough for the baby to lay on them even after the bath while you put the lotion on. They’re pretty big and durable too. they don’t stand great in wash tho. hey peel and lump so be careful about that. Still a must have.

Handy changing pads

These are the perfect changing pad to use anywhere: changing table, couch, floor, either at home or on the go! Wash well–don’t come out looking like new, but still functional. For those wondering about the waterproof element: the tag says there is a vinyl layer between the outer polyester flannel.

Excessive Pilling

I only use these under the sheet in our pack-and-play, where I rarely have to change it and it doesn’t come into direct contact with the baby, because they pill so excessively whenever they are washed that the lint gets all over anything it touches. There are definitely better quality options on the market, though given the price they are alright as emergency back ups.

poor quality

Looked good in the pic, hence bought it. Very poor quality. Did not even withstand 1 wash/dry – got very pilly and unusable.
