Life-changing for tongue tied infant!
Love these binkies! These pacifiers are truly remarkable. My daughter has a tied tongue, not enough to get it snipped but we tried every binky out there and at 3mos old, took the jump to try a 6mo & up size. What a world of difference! If your LO has latching issues with binkies, try a size up. Best advice I can give! She’s 5mos now and still loves these.
Natural Rubber is the Way to Go!
We love these pacifiers. They are so much softer then the regular silicone pacifiers. Even if you don’t get these for health reasons get them because they are much softer and “gummier” for the baby. We have used them since our boy was born. Even though he is breastfed, we did not have any issues with nipple confusion. He took the pacifier when he was not hungry. When he was hungry he didn’t want it. They do have to be replaced once they become sticky. But for sanitary reasons it’s best to replace any kind of pacifer after about 2-3 months.
My daughter is having fun with it!
My 7 month-old daughter loves this pacifier. She also uses it as a teether. She chews it from both sides. It’s safe and very soft, she can’t hit herself with it, or get hurt when she rolls over it while asleep.
I love the concept of these! The problem is, my daughter won’t use them. The entire pacifier is rubbery and soft, and she won’t use it as a pacifier. She doesn’t really like playing with them either – I thought maybe it would work as a sort of teether. I think you might have to start off your baby with these type of pacifiers, because I think switching from a ‘normal’ style to these won’t work well.
Still touches baby’s nose!!!
So I didn’t like it that the round one covered her nose and thought this would fix the problem. WRONG. It still touches and pushes her nose. I really the material and how easy it is to clean, so I decided to make some adjustments. I cut along the curved lines at the top and it is perfect. If you do decide to cut it, cut with sharp scissors and do not stop along the cut or you’ll won’t end up with a smooth curve.
Too big for a newborn, my baby doesn’t like it.
I am not sure if it’s the shape or the larger size, but my baby just doesn’t like it and prefers advent soothies that she got at the hospital. It also changes color a bit once it is sterilized … so seems weird that it would.
Our baby likes the Nuk Orthostar all silicone pacifier that looks almost identical to this one. Unfortunately, she wasn’t fooled by this one. I would’ve given it 5 stars if she took it. We are going to keep trying though.
These are what all mothers should be using. Certified to EU standards. No BPA, no phthalates, no silicone, no parabens, no PVC.I’ve heard some Moms be concerned that it deteriorates over time and all I can say is, you should probably be replacing it more often… Definitely a must purchase!
I like the idea of it.
I wanted to love these. I wanted my baby to love these. They are lovely to look at, they feel lovely (I love the material they’re made of, they feel like extra soft rubber), I love that they’re natural. But my son hated them. More than any other pacifier and he really wasn’t too picky about pacifiers. They have a tiny little nipple and I guess he just didn’t like that. He would suck on them occasionally because he was a pretty easy going baby when it came to pacifiers but once he hit two months old he stopped willingly taking them. He just loved his soothie pacifiers. He currently loves to play with them as a toy. He’ll hold them and gnaw on the sides or even the back looped part! He still doesn’t like sucking on the nipple part though! haha
Only pacifiers my LO would take
Perfect texture and softness, yet durable. The closest thing to a real nipple which is why I think my LO took to it (unlike every other pacifier I tried to give her). The orthodontic shape is the natural shape made when she’s sucking for comfort (versus breastfeeding), another reason I think she took to it. I have 3 of them (2 for home and 1 for traveling) and will easily spend the $9 on more if they need replacing. I also really like the groove for under the nose so it gives her room to breathe, as well as the size – it’s big enough that she can find it in her crib in the middle of the night to self-soothe herself back to sleep. And because it’s soft everywhere, it doesn’t wake her up if she rolls over it or turns her face onto it.
I like the feel of these, and that’s they’re natural, but I have them three stars for a couple reasons. First of all, my son will rarely take this paci (but he also won’t take any other paci so rarely is better than never), second, my son is 2 months, I introduced these at one month and he can’t keep them in his mouth. They’re kind of hard to get good suction on them.Overall, they’re ok
The only pacifier our daughter will take!! Knowing …
The only pacifier our daughter will take!! Knowing she’s not sucking on a chemical-filled piece of plastic makes the expense extremely worth it.
Perfect shape and size and tecture.
Great natural pacifiers
Simple, but my daughter likes and I know they are safe being all natural rubber. Glad to avoid all plastics. No crevices that can harbor germs either. Easy to clean.
I got a set of these for my friends twin boys. She said they loved them but the rubber smell was a bit odd. As long as they’re non-toxic and the babies like them I consider it a win.
Too big and uncomfortable for my son
Sadly, even though i was keen on my boy using this natural pacifier, he never liked it. It was too big and uncomfortable for him, and he kept spitting it out. A big minus is that it does not have a cap to protect it when it is not being used.
Comforts Mom, too
I’m so glad to find something natural- I don’t know if the baby will actually like pacifiers. My first didn’t, but that has nothing to do with this product. Please keep making these!
good but has a taste to it
The shape is great, easy to clean, but it has a taste to it. My baby doesn’t like pacifiers at all, so I ended up not using it.
These are on our top-ten list for "baby-must-haves". Absolutely love every aspect of them, the guilt free components (environmentally/baby safe), the easy to clean factor, and now that baby is older – the fact that this can be a strap on (with paci clip) paci and teether in one! So convenient and quality.
I love this product and so does my 4 month old. My mind is at ease knowing I don’t have to worry about harmful chemicals.
baby loves it, so do I
Our baby is 9 months old and can’t live without a pacifier. We were using NUK orthodontic ones but I wasn’t sure if it’s 100% toxin free. I got these in 6-12 months. The nipple is small, similar size as NUK’s 0-6 months ones, and the indent isn’t deep enough to give space to the nose, and it has the rubber smell. But our baby doesn’t care about any of these. He LOVES it. He’s been sucking on it, chewing on the handle and the disk and just doesn’t want let go of it. It’s not only a paci for him, but also a teether and toy. So no need for me to buy a separate natural rubber teether for him!
Best pacifier ever
This is the best pacifier ever! Dont ever buy another pacifier but this one. Not only is it natural, it is fantastic for a few reasons. First, when my baby is teething she likes to turn the pacifier and chew on the other side, which she can do since it is all made of natural rubber. My little one loves this pacifier. Also, when she falls asleep with it in her mouth and it falls out of her mouth, I dont need to run in and take it out of the crib, because even if my little one falls asleep on it it bends (it is natural rubber) and does not wake my little girl. Other pacifiers made of hard plastic would wake her up if her face hits them in her bed. But this one just squashes under her and lets her keep sleeping. It is the best pacifier ever.
Have not used it yet but it is ready in case it is needed. All my friends recommend it. Just in case may as well have the best.
I have a 15 month old girl, who still using it at night to fall asleep and she been using them since 3 month old. They clean very easy, nice and soft. Just make sure you buy correct size as your child grows up. (Don’t buy any plastic pacifier, this is great product and much safer.)
She won’t take any other
These are more expensive but calming our little one makes it so worth it. These are the only ones she doesn’t spit back out. I also like that it doesn’t “imprint” on her face like the plastic ones did.
I love that these are all natural rubber. These are made from the least harmful material I could find. They have the "nuk" shape, which is what my daughter prefers, but there is also a round style available. The pacifier is made in one solid piece, so it stays cleaner than traditional pacifiers. The directions say to throw them away regularly, but mine are all ok so far, so I don’t know if the warning is just for liability, or if they will wear out eventually. If we have any issues, I will update with how long they lasted. The first ones we bought did not have a cut out below the nose, and rubbed a little. The 3 subsequent 2 packs have had a cut out for the nose, so work great!
Eco friendly and safe. My baby is 100% breastfed and took these with no hesitation. He likes to suck a lot and momma needed a break. I love the fact that these are 100% natural hevea rubber.
Not as good as other rubber pacifiers
We had this one in newborn size and liked it a lot until our little one got her teeth at 6 m and bit them through. I order these in size 12+ in hope that they are much sturdy and can hold, but they are as soft as the newborn size and get bit through within a day. It doesn’t happen with other brand of rubber pacifiers.
The plastic nipple of it became permanently flat after couple time of use.
I bought this 2-Pack 12 months and above pacifier for my 16-month girl, as an updated for her favorite old ones as I’ve linked hereHevea Star & Moon Orthodontic Pacifier -0 – 3 months. She loves the old ones from Hevea, but unfortunately they don’t sell it by larger size. So come back to this new ones.At the beginning, she likes them as they are similar as the old styles that she used. But after only two weeks, she refused to use one of them by a very sensitive reaction even though she was quite sleepy by that time.As I checked the pacifier, I found a weird thing that the plastic nipple became flat(the air inside was gone there) and couldn’t come back to the normal shape no matter how I’ve tried to pinch it back.I don’t believe that there’s anything wrong with the way that my little girl sucked it, and can’t find a better way to contact the seller. If photos are demanded, i can always supply.
Butterfly shape is not good for baby’s nose
I really like the Natursutten pacifiers, however the butterfly pacifier did not wk for my baby because the way is shaped. The cut needs to be a bit deeper because the way they are shaped it makes an indentation on the baby’s nose. I will keep buying the product but will stick to the round shape for the comfort of my baby. Nothing to do with the seller though…more with the manufacturer.
