It was great…for a while

I started using this pump when I came back to work. It worked great at the beginning, but now it’s sucking milk up through the pump diaphragm and getting milk in the pump motor, which cannot be healthy or sanitary. I wish it was a closed system. I’ve been using the pump for three months, and now I’m having to just use the manual pump parts, which sucks.

nice lil unit

this is a good pump. it just has a bit of a learning curve. i can successfully pump 2-4oz in 10-15 min with this pump. it’s also quite quiet.highly recommended.

Great while it lasted.

I got this pump last year when my daughter was first born. The pump worked great. Wasn’t painful at all and I never used the petals that came with it. It was also very powerful. I started to use it again when I had my second daughter a few weeks ago and all of a sudden the motor went kaput. Not to mention it was terribly loud. I did like the fact that it was very portable and had a battery pack so I could pump in the car. My other complaint is that it is not compatible with the Born Free bottles even with their adaptor :(. I just switched to the Medela Swing which seems to be working great and is less noisy.

Better than Medela!

I researched long before purchasing a expensive but necessary breastpump, I wasn’t sure if I should buy this one, because of some of the reviews posted here but I’m glad I did, this was a God send, it wasnt harsh on breasts and I got in 10 minutes triple the amount of breastmilk I got with a Medela. I really hated medela, it broke fast, and it did nothing for me. I think when it comes to comfort and effectiveness of breastpumps it depends on each person, I read horrible reviews of this one, but it did wonders for me and my daughter. I recommend it widely.

The Isis Duo is better

I have the Isis Duo and have used it for over 2 years with my first and now using it with my 2nd baby. It’s awesome! Best pump I’ve owned over other leading brands. That being said I ordered the Isis Uno to use at home so I could leave my Duo at work. The Uno is ok but the suction just isn’t as good even on full suction. Other than that it is a great little pump, easy to clean, easy to assemble and comfortable.
