Teether will NOT come apart, if you buy the right one!

Firstly, let me just say that I am very glad that I ignored the “most helpful” review saying that it would come apart. I completely feared this because my baby seems to eat everything he can get his hands on, and he’s only about 5 months! Well, I received the product and I couldn’t be happier with the concept. It is a soft silicone material, comparable to other teething toys on the market, and my baby took to it instantly. The bonus: it is shaped like a pacifier, so babies can suck on it and it fits comfortably in their mouths. I can’t say enough good things about this product. Now about it coming apart, the green and red and green and blue teether’s are two parts brought together, however the pink and the light blue teethers are one peice (i.e. there is no way it will come apart!!). I completely recommend the light blue, considering that is the one I bought for my baby boy. It is a very nice color, just as shown in the picture, and it is only about fifty cents more than the original “raZ-berry teether”.So, if you really want the contrast in colors, you can take the risk with one of the dual-color raz-berry teethers; Many people have been more than happy with the those and never had a problem with it coming apart. But personally, I would recommend the one-color ones; They are just as cute and you won’t have to worry about the possibility that it will come apart. Enjoy!

This is my son’s FAVORITE thing!

My friend had 3 of these for her son – one for the car, one for the diaper bag, and one for the house. So, I got 2 for my 6 month old son – one for nana’s house and one for us. We attached it to a Haba pacifier chain so we can clip it to his shirt in the car and when we’re out. He can’t get enough of it. The raspberry part is hollow and the whole thing is made of chewy silicone – he loves the squeaky sound it makes. He never took a pacifier or bottle, but loves taking this out of his mouth and putting it back in, chewing on it and rubbing it against his gums. It’s awesome! The same company RaZBaby makes a silicone toothbrush that he loves to chew on on his own (he doesn’t have any teeth yet).

Is your kiddo not drooling enough?

Hey? Is your kid not drooling enough? Is he being teased and the park because he doesn’t have a big drool stain down his shirt? Then this is for you! This just seemed to get every ounce of drool out of his mouth and on to everything within a throwing distance. He’d load up the drool launcher and fling it all over. All in all, pretty gross! In reality, I wouldn’t mind drool everywhere if it helped with the teeth. It didn’t. He still seemed upset and ouchy, and now wet! And it didn’t seem very interesting either… He’d have it in his mouth a minute tops and then it’d get thrown somewhere. Not worth the effort.

My baby never liked, loved, enjoyed these

I was very excited when I found these. I have 5 kids and with my youngest it looked like a great new possible solution to help during teething. My daughter seriously hated these. I’m not sure if it was the texture, the material used, etc. She just never liked them and I stopped trying to offer them when she started crying just from looking at them O_o At least we tried.

Thumbs Down According to My Daughter

My 4 1/2 old began teething and this was the ONE TEETHER SHE ABSOLUTELY refused. I think it may be due to the size of the strawberry – it’s rather large for younger babies’ mouths…just a heads up about this. My daughter, who loves her pacifier, didn’t quite understand what to do with this thing. It’s shaped like a pacifier so she tried to suck on it, but it’s so oddly large that she has just spit it out each time I tried giving it to her. Other reviewers have posted about the same issue. I wish I had read the reviews here before my purchase! I also just noticed that some of these reviews talk about the pacifier coming apart, which is a serious choking hazard. Mine is going in the garbage!

Too big for my 5 month olds mouth

It’s too big and he ends up gagging on it. I’m better off with him chewing on his Soothie pacifier. Maybe eventually he will like it but for now he just gets frustrated.

Great but doesn’t stay cold for long

We love this for our 7 month old daughter who is teething. Except that when taken out of the freezer it only stays cold for about 15min. Our daughter would prefer it stay cold longer.

Pretty Good

My five month old seems to enjoy chewing on this teether. It is the perfect size to pack along. It also looks so cute in her mouth. I only have one concern: when she get teeth it seems like she would be able to chew off chunks of it. So I would suggest watching your child VERY carefully while using this product. I plan on taking it away once I see the first tooth pop through.

Not a teething pacifier; poor construction

After I received this, I looked closely at the way it’s constructed and noticed that at least one piece is glued on. (I was also surprised to find the note on the packaging that it’s not a pacifier.) So I read more product reviews and found some disturbing testimonials that confirmed my fear about the poor construction — not a chance I’m willing to take with my baby. I returned it without opening it.

Baby gagged on it

My little one did not like this at all, but she does not take a pacifier either, I would not waste the money on this.

Great chewy texture

Some other teethers I have are harder plastic or too big to fit into his mouth. I wanted something that goes into his mouth about as far as my knuckle goes. This is it. The ring, the pointy leaves and the red part all seem to make for very satisfied chewing. It is also easy to quickly rinse off or wipe off the fluff and dog hair it might pick up when it fals on the carpet. It is not the most attractive item but it has a GREAT texture and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Love it!

We have never had any problems with the teether coming apart and my child does pull on it when it is in her mouth. She loves this thing! Totally took to it right away and I was a little concerned since she uses a paci that she would try to suck on this and be unhappy. She figured out that it was for chewing pretty fast and uses it almost every day (she is 8 months old).

Great for those little ones who like to chew on pacifiers.

This was a great teether for my little man who loves to chew on his pacifier. The ring on the end makes it easy for him to hold and grab and he seems to enjoy the bumpy texture. I like that its all one piece as opposed to the two tone red and green raspberry.

So far my baby loves this!

I’ve just had this one day, but my baby took to it right away. She is 6 months right now and had always rejected pacifiers until recently when she started teething. She found a newborn pacifier lying around. I didn’t want to start the pacifier habit at this late in the stage, so I found this one. The second I showed it to her, she was very happy. She loves the colors and textures. She chewed on it like crazy and then when she popped it back out of her mouth, lots of drool went flinging through the air. 🙂

Doesn’t stay cold

My daughter really likes the cold of the frozen teether rings, but just can’t seem to hold on to it long enough because it’s too cold for her hands. I thought this would be great. After staying in the freezer overnight, this teether stays cold for about 15 seconds. Plus, the green “leaf” part (which covers half of her face) seems to be the only part that stays somewhat cold. It’s not her cheeks that need soothing!

great price for a good teether

We’re borrowing this one from our nephew. It lasted through him and our daughter loves it too. The both started to teething early and this has come in handy. We often soak it ice water to give it a quick chill. This is one of our daughter’s favorites.

Great Teether

My son loved this when his teeth started actually coming through the gums. We put it on a pacifier chain and attached it to the car seat, stroller, and Bjorn. It kept him so happy!

So dangerous

My baby does not like it and also I found that the "berry" is too big for his little month. He is 5 months and I was afraid he would choke on it. Too bad I can’t return it.

So much better than a pacifier

My baby doesn’t like pacifiers at all so I was skeptical about this. I was wrong, she loves it. It really helps her with teething because she loves to chew on it. Highly recommend it.

Helps

Teething sucks! At least for my daughter. She chews on everything and anything. I have tons of teething toys that she doesnt use. She chews on her paci so i thought i would try this. Its easy for her to hold and she uses it. Thats 5 stars for me. In response to it being a hazard for kids choking on it I have not experienced this and it’s too big to fit all the way in her mouth. My daughter has two teeth and more coming in and she has pulled, yanked, chomped and sucked on this thing never has it fallen apart. Like any product your child should never be left unattended so I would hope if any of that did occur your right there

REJECTED

Like everyone else I am constantly trying to soothe my sons teething pain and find him whatever toys will help. This one was too big for his mouth and almost seemed to gag him once he got it in. I’m glad it wasn’t very expensive.

On the fence

I think this product would be awesome if my baby teethed like normal kids. She doesn’t chew and gnaw on things like the other kids I see. I bought her two of these and the Sophie Giraffe Teether, but she doesn’t chew on them.

AWESOME!

My son loves this teether! I call it his “razzle dazzle berry” and he gets so excited when it’s in front of him. Although, I’m not positive, I think that it has actually weaned him from his regular binky. He loves to chew on all of them now and isn’t interested in sucking them. I know a lot of parents want to wean their kids of the binky, but I wasn’t ready for that since he needs to suck to sleep. Like I said, I can’t say it was this teether, but it did happen shortly after he started chewing it.

Awesome!

The first time I gave this to my daughter there was no hesitation at all…right into her mouth and she went to town on it! She loves it and it’s easy for her to manipulate. Plan on buying some for all the new mom’s I know.

Kinda large for my 4-month-old’s mouth

I like that this teether is all one piece, no way for it to come apart with chewing. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t have a rubbery smell to it. However, it is a little large. I think it might work better for an older baby – maybe closer to 9 months or so.
