waste of money. don’t buy this.
It is true the bathtub does NOT leak IF properly snapped in three places and rested on a flat surface. If you put it on top of the sink and have to move it a little bit to align it with the sink to empty it, or if you have to lift it up with water to take it somewhere else to empty it, it WILL LEAK. In any case, the benefit you get from the minimal compacting does not outweigh the pain it is to keep this clean (water dwells in the cracks and becomes moldy) and the fact you don’t have a flat bottom surface to have your baby sit on. It is just not a good/necessary product. Get a normal bathtub and a separate sling from walmart and you are good to go.
Worst tub ever!
No matter what you do, this tub will leak. It has a poor design and was a total waste of money.
It WILL leak
This bath tub will leak. It won’t matter whether you use it correctly and snap close the 2 pieces. When it is full of water, the weight of the water will bend the plastic body (especially when I lift the tub to and from the bathroom floor to faucet).
The tub itself is horrible, the frog sponge and the sling are the only good things that came in the box! The tub leaks, everywhere! Our daughter has acid reflux and our pediatrician suggested a warm bath every night to help relieve some of her belly discomforts. Well, using a bathtub that leaks constantly was less then pleasent. We have a huge sink area but the are outside of our tub is in close quarters with the toilet etc. so it is much easier to keep the tub on the counter. With using the tub water was everywhere, the first few times I thought I did something wrong or was just not paying attention. No, I quickly came to find out that its the tub. I threw it in the garbage, but did keep the sponge and the sling. The sling worked great, very sturdy and nice design. The sponge was also very good to use when she was about 2 weeks, added padding for her to lay on and helped cause slipping!
We’ve used this tub with my son for 5 months now and it looks like he has almost grown to long for it. And he is learning to sit up now in the tub. I like the size of the tub most. Other baby tubs out there are just too small for him to be laid down on. It seems that a lot of the reviews says the tub leaks but you have to snap the center part down hard or it will not “click” and then water will leak out. Ours have not leaked at all. Good tub. Will buy again for the size of it.
Leaks and really disgusting to clean. It get that orangey buildup in the overlap part and the whole thing has to come apart to clean. Go with the primo eurobath. love it!
