Did not help

Bought this for my preggo wife, but she just could not get comfortable with it. I think the problem is the size of the pillow. Its simply too “thick”This doesn’t mean its a bad pillow, just not right in our case. Amazon took it back without issue.

Worst Pillow Ever!

I bought this pillow when I was 4 months pregnant hoping it would provide support. I would wake up with severe round ligament pain within 30 mins due to the lack of support and being unable to position it. I still decided not to return it as I thought that maybe I had bought the pillow too early since the woman in the picture looks farther along in her pregnancy. I am now 8 months pregnant (with a huge belly!) and I pulled the pillow out again last night to use and woke up again with the same round ligament pain due to lack of support. I have tried to “mount” and position this thing in every way possible and can’t get comfortable. I am 5’4 and yet this pillow is also no where long enough for me to get the hip support as showed in this picture.Every other pillow in my house provides more support than this one does. My only hope is that I can use it for breast feeding but if it’s too hard for me, I can only imagine how uncomfortable it will be for a newborn. Maybe mine was defective because the picture shows that the pillow is more narrow at one end (by the head). If I look at mine…. it’s the same width at both sides.I should have returned it months ago. 🙁

little pricy but very comfortable

I bought this pillow when I was in the middle of my second trimester. I have been happily using it for over a month now and it really helped me to sleep comfortably at night. I like the fact that it is not that big so it does not cover so much space in bed. Also, it contours your belly and it is also very soft; very comfortable to sleep with. You can also take the cover to wash it so it is very convenient for me. I am very happy with this purchase.

Not big enough

I am 5’2″ and 115 before pregnancy and I would not recommend this for most women. The picture is misleading – it would only fit well if you have your legs bent tightly so your knees are high. I sleep with my legs slightly bent and the pillow between my knees, and the top of the cushion only comes up to about my bellybutton. I don’t see how the stomach part will ever actually support my stomach; the stomach support part comes to my crotch. Also the pillow is too curved so the top part sticks into my chest. Maybe it works better for short, fat people or later in pregnancy (I’m 6 months).Pros: I like the cushion consistency and it is good support for my knees and hips.

Size in photo is VERY deceiving

I am 34 weeks pregnant and 6′ tall. For the past month I’ve needed to alleviate the many aches and pains that come along with this growing baby with 4-5 pillows stuffed all around me at night (which gets annoying when I need to change positions). The rave reviews of the Sealy Sweet Pea (and the fact that it didn’t look SO big) led me to this purchase. I received it yesterday and was instantly disappointed in the actual size. Granted, I am tall but the pillow is nowhere near the size shown in the photo. The part that’s shown inbetween her knees isn’t that wide — it MAYBE goes from crotch to mid thigh. NOT crotch to beyond the knee cap as shown. And if I place the widest part in between my knees, the top of the pillow barely comes to mid-tummy. It honestly felt no different than a regular pillow. Returning today and sticking to my bed full of pillows.

Just didn’t work

I bought this one b/c I really didn’t want one of those other massive pillows that took up the whole bed. Something about the curved shape of the pillow made it hard for me to really get tucked-in and comfortable. It was also a little too short to really fit between my legs and between my arms. It really just didn’t work for me. I returned it and got one of the huge ones (the Snoogle). It is like having a third person in the bed, but man is it comfy!!

Works great as a bolster pillow, under-knee support when reclining, a nursing pillow, and to keep me comfortable when I sleep. I plan on bringing it to the hospital with me to help me in some of my preferred labor positions. Oh, and it isn’t so big that it takes up the whole bed, like some other maternity pillows do–plenty of room left in our queen bed for me and my hubby!

I am only 5’4″ so I am not a tall person. This pillow is not as big as the picture seems. While it’ll be good for propping me up, since it is very rigid and not very fluffy/squishy, it is NOT good for using to support your belly or in between your legs and forget about putting your head on it!! I’m keeping it only cause I am pregnant with twins and I predict bed rest in my future, so I can use it to prop me up or maybe set on my lap so I can have a bowl or plate of food in front of me. Plan on buying that snoogle pillow or one similar.

Best Ever!

I used this throughout my pregnancy & it made sleeping so much more bareable. Now that baby is here we use it as a nursing pillow in the living room & it’s awesome. I preferred it to the boppy.

Not any different from a $10 pillow

Got this because of the good reviews and thought it would be better than a regular pillow. All it is a medium sized pillow with a curve that cuts around your belly. A long pillow that you can find for $10 at walmart actually works better. Other reviews mentioned that it is too short for tall women…I didn’t think they meant 5’7″. I wouldn’t spend money on this unless you are shorter than 5’4″. If you are short and you plan on spending money on a breast feeding pillow anyway, then this might be a good way to kill two birds with one stone. Don’t get it just because you want pain relief during pregnancy.

I like it better than the Boppy pillow

I had the Boppy pillow while I breastfed our son and I always hated how it is smaller on one end. This one is a nice round and evenly thick shape throughout. I thought I would like sleeping with it to give my hips support but I just can’t stand pillows in those places, but that’s just me. It will work great for feeding my little one once she arrives.

Very large, bulky and stiff. Best for final trimester

This pillow was much thicker and bulkier than I thought it would be. At 6/7 months pregnant, it was too thick to comfortably use to support my belly. Now at 8 months pregnant, it’s a good size to support me.I’m 5’9″ and the length is still good so for you tall mama’s out there, it’s just fine!I find it useful despite not being enormously comfortable or snuggly. It will make a great nursing pillow (in bed) and is great to put behind my head when I need to sleep upright.

My daughter is loving this pillow

This pillow was a gift and my daughter just raves about it. At first the pillow was just a comfort measure, but now it really helps her to wake free of back pain. One of the best gifts I have ever given.

Too Thick!

At 20 weeks pregnant, I thought this pillow would be the answer to my achy hips during a night of sleep. Unfortunately, it is too thick and actually puts more pressure on my hips. I still think it will be a great nursing pillow, but it is not really the 2-in-1 concept that I was hoping for. Also, the zipper is flimsy and I would not be surprised if it broke on the next pull. Overall, I think this pillow is not worth the money spent.

To awkward

I wanted something I dual use. While pregnant and then when baby comes. But it wasn’t comfortable at all to snuggle up to at any stage of my pregnancy. I am due in just few weeks, but I’m not sure I’m going to like it for feed as it is awfully large.

Mindy Alfred, NY

To me- its not for maternity…

Hated this for maternity sleeping-it was way to firm and I tried to get use to it but its just too bulky. but makes a good couch pillow and is nice for holding her now. Glad i am getting some use out of it.

Poor Quality

This was comfortable for about a month, then started getting smashed down. By the end of my pregnancy, it was lumpy and flat, and there is no way it would last through more than one. The size was great but the quality was not.

Lizzie Hermitage, PA

Really comfy!

I love this pillow. I have neck & back problems and can’t sleep on my side. I use this as a wedge under my back & it helps a lot! It’s also comfortable for using for the tummy & legs.

Georgette Prairie, MS

a life saver!!

I used this product throughout my pregnancy and it was a life saver. I now use it as a nursing pillow and it works great! Better than any smaller boppy I received. YOU NEED THIS!

Jillian Tama, IA

Fantastic pillow w/ multi-uses!

Couldn’t have gotten through my pregnancy without this pillow! I slept with it as shown in the picture every single night. I now use it as a back pillow while nursing in bed. Again, couldn’t do without it!

Benita Kiester, MN

Decent quality but more of a novelty

At first my wife and I were excited. After a few weeks it started getting pushed aside. After a month she never used it. For the price we paid we would never purchase again.

Kellie Avoca, IA

8 weeks left and sleeping like 4 weeks along!!!!

I love love love this pillow, I opened it and immediately loved how there was no gas off smell, and it was oh so soft but firm enough that it will not fail me through the night. My first sleep with it was awesome! I only woke to my weak bladder lol:) but that is great compared to the hip, back, and leg pain I was experiencing. I read some of the reviews that said this is so much smaller than is pictured? I think it is perfect and as pictured, I am 5’4 and 140 lbs and this pillow fits comfortably between my legs up under my belly and right under my breast line. I can not say enough about this product, it does not make me sweat and it does not get caught up on my sheets like some pillows I have tried, love the fabric! This is a definite hand me down! lol

Great for sleeping and nursing

This was my all-in-one pillow. When I was pregnant it was comfortable and easy to move around with when tossing and turning. It did not take up the whole bed like some other pillows. When I had my baby, I used it to lay him on for nursing. The angled design worked perfectly. I still use it sometimes when my knees or back are hurting. The cover is easy to take off, launder, and put back on. I will definitely be using this for the next one.

Shanna Muldraugh, KY

Good purchase

I used this one night, but will keep it. It is very bulky for sleeping with, but I know it will come in handy when I am nursing my baby once he arrives. Who knows, I may start using it more later in my pregnancy. And later in life, I know it will still be used for reading in bed. I’ll get my money’s worth out of it for sure.

Tommie Denison, IA

didn’t work well for either pregancy or nursing

Bought this pillow b/c it’s a 2-in-1. The pillow was too thick to place between the legs or under the belly while I was pregnant. It was not comfortable to use, and it felt like it’s pressing my belly when I sleep on my side like the picture shown. For nursing, the pillow is not firm enough and the shape is old. The baby can not be well supported or stay securely on the pillow without additional help.

Dianna White Mills, KY

Great for pregnancy!

Just what I needed! This pillow is the perfect cuddle buddy & has helped me sleep on my side. It does take up some space in my bed as its like having a small child or dog sleep in your bed but I can live with that 🙂

Kristine Natrona Heights, PA

Great purchase for any pregnant woman

Loving my maternity pillow. I purchased it when I was about 3-4 months pregnant and now I am almost at 32 weeks and I still use it every night. I use it behind my back when I sit up in bed to watch TV and then use it as pictured when I sleep. This shape works great for me, because I still want to have my husband have the ability to hug me when we sleep and this pillow makes it possible. If I had purchased a full U shaped pillow, I am not even sure if my husband would have room to sleep on our queen bed.

Two of Two

I say two of two because the first pillow we tried by a different company didn’t suit my wife but the first night and she loved it.
