The Crib looks great!

We bought this crib for our daughter’s room. It arrived yesterday and the box looked a little bit rough, the crib was packaged really well though and there was no damage to the crib. My husband had some frustrations putting the crib together, all in all it took him about 90 minutes. The crib looks great and seems really sturdy. I think this crib is going to last a long time.My husband really wishes the instructions to put the crib together were more clear.

For the price this crib is pretty decent. It’s not as nice as the crib I had for my first child which cost over $500, but we didn’t want to spend that amount the second time. The assembly instructions included with this crib are extremely vague. It skips important parts that you need to put the crib together. However, at 6 months pregnant I still figured it out on my own. The front of the crib has holes where the bolts hold the crib together. I found this to be a little unsightly. I bought the crib in white and ended up painting the bolts/screws white to help match the finish so they weren’t as noticeable. The finish on the crib is ok – it looks kind of painted with a brush instead of the smooth sprayed finish. I’m satisfied with the crib, but it’s not the best crib ever either. I also find that it’s not as sturdy as our other expensive one. When moving it around it’s more wobbly.

Looks nicer in the picture

It was definitely tough to put together but you can expect this with most cribs. The wood seems unfinished in some areas and it was just painted over. The white paint highlights the cracks and imperfections and makes me wonder if it is safe for when the baby begins to chew on everything.

Ordered for a gift for first grandson. Assembly is easy. Very sturdy. Excellent product and I love that it converts.

Nice crib for the money

This crib is mostly good. It’s well built, sturdy when put together, no chips or scratches. It’s a much brighter white than the picture, I wish it had been more of a bone color, but it’s fine. I like that where you place the mattress is solid wood instead of springs.

Decent crib

The espresso color matches all of my other espresso nursery furniture beautifully. It was not difficult to put together but it did take a bit of time. I did it by myself at 6 1/2 months pregnant, with very little furniture building experience.A standard mattress fits perfectly. Also a previous reviewer had a problem with removing the stickers. I peeled them off slowly and the wood was not damaged.I gave it 3 stars because I wish it felt more durable. It is perfectly safe and pretty sturdy when I shake it. I wish the slats were thicker/stronger but this does not affect the overall sturdiness of the structure. The other reason why I rated it 3 stars is because you can see the hardware and it looks unfinished. There are 4 large screws on the front headboard that I wish we’re not as visible. (If you look at the picture in white, you can see the places for the screws more clearly and decide if that would bother you.)All in all I am happy with my purchase but if I were to do it again I would spend a little more money for a better quality crib.

Nice crib but horrible assembly

Once the crib was all together I was very happy. It has just enough accent to make it cute without being over the top. I was pretty excited to find that it came with the pieces to make it a day or toddler bed also. I only gave it 4 stars though because the assembly was a nightmare! The directions to put it together are mostly pictures, but they are not step by step. It shows one step and expects you to know the next three. I was very frustrated putting this together. I was a little surprised at how skimpy the directions were since I also have a stork craft dresser and chest and they are spelled out perfectly.Long story short, it’s well worth the buy even with the frustration of putting it together!
