Returned item

I ordered this in black and was really excited. I ended up returning this item. It looked great and it seemed easy to assemble. However, when I opened the package it had a strong paint smell.I wasn’t chancing having my child breathe the fumes or chew on the crib when he gets older.I ordered the babyletto hudson in gray instead. I wish this would have worked out. I loved the style and color.

Beautiful, sturdy crib

We were drawn to this crib after seeing it online, now that it is put together we love it even more! It is easy to assemble, not much to it at all; it took about an hour to put together. It is a very sturdy crib with a nice, smooth finish and it looks like it will hold up quite nicely.

love it

I love the shape, color, non toxic paint. It works great for our baby. It is sturdy and also easy to move around.

Love this crib!

Was looking for a more modern shaped crib and ran across this one. Our theme was going to be “Under the Seas” and this fit in well with it looking somewhat like a fish tank. Solid design, and easy to put together. The only downfall is that any mobile ends up hanging low, but since you can’t use them for long, it is no big deal. If it could only be turned into a daybed like bed for a toddler, this would be absolutely perfect…but I still would purchase it as it comes. Highly recommend!

Easy assembly!

We havent used it yet, the baby is due in a few weeks, but the assembly was quite easy. The directions claim it might take two people, one pregant person and four paint cans got the job done. The directions are very straight forward and easy to follow. There are probably 4-5 steps for the crib. Looks solid and quite attractive 🙂

Beautiful Crib

I ordered this crib for my daughter a while back, but I wanted to give it a little time before I wrote a review. The crib was pretty easy to put together. I did it by myself at 6 months pregnant. It took about an hour and a half to put together. The crib is beautiful. The wood is really nice, and it’s very sturdy. I am so happy with this crib.

Love it!

Love this bed. The style is fantastic! Not your typical baby crib look, which is what drew us to it. It looks so great in the babies room. It was very easy to assemble; although, I had to assemble it twice because I ignored a step (my fault not the directions). I do believe there was one misprint in step 1 as far as which screw to use but it was an obvious misprint and wont mess you up. We bought a Simmons Beaurtyrest Firm mattress for the crib and it was a perfect fit. Great crib, no complaints.

Great mod look for a good price!

We love this crib. It is very well made and sturdy, and the shape is nice – different and modern. The height is good for me to reach in as I am short, which is an added bonus!

I see what they mean about the directions…

It surprises me that Stork Craft hasn’t revamped the directions on the crib after so many complaints about the assembly directions. I am fortunate to have a father and husband who are both handy and tackled the job without much headache. They did mention the following:You need to be able to anticipate a couple steps ahead in order to avoid back-tracking on your assembly. You can’t tighten all the parts until the end or the crib won’t fit together properly. There is a picture showing you what size screw you will be using at certain times- I guess this picture is not true to size and if you’re following the directions exactly, this will lead you astray. Luckily my dad noticed right away that it didn’t make sense and they avoided any "screw"-up!Shape is cute, color and quality are decent and overall I’m happy this is the one we selected.
