Crib for years to come
We just put up this crib! We have it in white color. The crib is well made, sturdy and gorgeous with some detail. It will be very easy to keep clean since the surface is smooth. We got a mattress from IKEA that fits in here perfectly(standard size). The mattress can be adjusted to different heights with the highest setting being right in the middle of the crib). Great crib, that comes with the railing for toddler bed. We love it!
it is a very nice crib. no chips, came in the box, edge of box was torn. but the item was undamaged. went together very easily, its very sturdy and fit perfectly in the corner of our room. nice price and also came with toddler bead and single bed conversion rails.
Good quality for the price
I like this crib. Nice color, easy to assemble and sturdy. I give it only 4 stars because some of the wooden pieces were cracked and splintered but nothing major. Don’t know if the baby likes it yet, he is due to arrive next month.
Exactly what we wanted!
Bought this crib for our first baby-to-be and just put it together, and it looks beautiful! Easy and fast to assemble, but a 2 person job. We have the cherry crib and the colour is gorgeous. Can’t wait to put together our matching dresser and glider. Hope they won’t be too much more work. Only negative comment is that the long piece of wood on the very top back of the crib was very slightly curved so doesn’t lie perfectly flat but is not noticable by just looking at it, only when we were putting it together and it can be wiggled a bit instead of totally tight fitting in place.
Great crib for price
Easy to assemble. Comes with railing to convert to toddler bed and day bed. Looks as good as cribs you’ll find elsewhere for double the price. Great value
Aesthetics compensate for some of the quality shortcomings
Assembly was okay, probably not any more annoying than most cribs. The crib is very beautiful, looks classy and stylish. The quality is okay — noticed some indentations on the wood that suggest a little pressure can warp the wood. Generally happy with it. The aesthetics compensate for some of the quality shortcomings… We figure a crib in this price point probably won’t last through all the convertible stages anyway. Recommended.
Stork Craft Venetian in Cognac
Received the product a few weeks ago. There were several puncture holes and tears in the box it was shipped in (shipped via UPS; I have had several items w/ damaged boxes and sometimes damaged goods that I have had to report that were shipped from them). No visible damage to the crib thank goodness. My advice, always take photos of the box/packaging if there’s visible damage ‘prior’ to opening.About the crib… My husband put it together by himself fairly quick. The color is gorgeous. A little deeper than an oak. The height for me is perfect. I am 5 ft tall and don’t have to worry about standing or leaning too much on the crib like I had to with my son’s delta crib b/c it’s railings sat higher up. If you are a shorter person who is looking for a convertible crib in a lighter color I highly recommend this. However, if you are a tall person you might not like the height of the ralings and crib. It may put a lot of strain on your back, which after a cesarean is a horrible feeling. The detail on the crib is beautiful. From the ground to the top of the front rail it’s approximately 35.5″; and to the top of the back of the crib it is ~ 40.5″. The inside measurements appear to be approximately 27.5″ x 52″ (or 52.5″- will have to recheck this with some help). I have done some research on mattress dimensions on Amazon and other sites, andhave read a review stating that a Sealy crib mattress fit theirs perfectly. I will post an update once the mattress arrives. Just a reminder to those ordering cribs and mattresses online. Wait until the crib arrives if you are unable to get measurements for the inside of the crib for a mattress. Also, several cribs these days are made with a softer wood, unless you buy a high end ($$$$ expensive) all wood crib. What this means is impressions and indentations are easier to make in them than some other solid wood types. My son’s delta crib had the same issues about easy indentation marks being left from bitting on the wood as several other people have remarked with several types of cribs. Having kids = some destruction of things.****Update: I purchased a mattress on amazon (Sealy Baby Posturepedic Mattress). The dimensions for the mattress fit the crib perfect. Very snug fit with no gaps around the sides. My daughter has been a mover and would roll herself against the sides of her bumper. Since she was too little to move away I took the bumper off. She was then getting her leg caught between the bars when she rolled, so I invested in a mesh crib bumper. No issues with it. The material is soft and easy to breathe through (I did test it out myself). I bought one that fits any size crib. It came with 2 pieces, which i did some overlapping to eliminate gaps. As for using the Neptune Soother aquarium, it is best to put on the tall back side rails of the crib. I had it on the front and it was not secure, and actually fell. It was basically impossible to fit the straps around the front rail. But good on the back (same with my son’s Delta crib too). The mobile we used, we attached to the side of the crib for a while. Then decided to put it on the back side of the crib. So far, no issues with the design/craftsmanship of the crib. Had to retorque the hex screws some (b/c my son loves to climb and pull on the rails & tell his sister good morning), but that was it.
Love this crib, looks very nice and sturdy, delivered on time, has a toddler rail with it. I would buy it again.
love my crib
I love that this crib converts at different stages. Its a good bang for buck. The quality is very good and at a reasonable price. I had no issues with my product and fixtures, my issue was assembly. The instructions were on the board however, the parts weren’t labeled so I had to use my sensibility. It wasn’t quite clear cut but the end result was good.
Nice Quality! – Great piece!
Greta piece with nice details. Has the ability to become a day bed, toddler bed and then full size! Awesome piece! Took about 30 min to put together with one person! When completed you can feel that it is really sturdy and is great quality! This is a WHITE piece. Lots of cribs say white and are really off-white. This one is TRUE Bright White!
Beautiful and sturdy crib
We were already fans of Storkcraft cribs after having one with our son a few years ago (we bought a new one because his old one was a drop side). We put this crib together yesterday and it did take a little time but the instructions were clear. The crib is very sturdy and the oak color matched the oak changing table we bought 3 years ago perfectly. Very happy with this crib.
