This really is one of those inventions that I don’t know how parents lived without. I cannot do a swaddle in a blanket to save my life. I’ve tried and tried, and my little guy would wriggle free every time. So I tried these, and they work like a charm! It’s so easy to put on, and my 6-week-old sleeps for five hours straight at night! I even use if for naps and he sleeps for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at a time. Without it, his arms startle him awake after 10-15 minutes. I also like that it’s loose at the bottom so he can bend and move his hips and legs. It’s perfect!
Soothes our baby
From the mom/wife: It makes it super easy for us to wrap our little one. She sleeps in it very comfortably. Yes, your baby might look like he/she wants to get out, but really the baby wants to be swaddled! So make her nice and tight — like a burrito! Or eggroll! We put the swaddles through the wash once (no dryer), and it didn’t shrink, but we’re handwashing from now on, just in case.
Sleep, Glorious Sleep!
I bought these because my squirmy son could bust out of any swaddling blanket in seconds. There’s no squirming out of these! We use them every time the baby goes down to sleep at night and for most of his daytime naps as well. He gets much better rest when we swaddle him with these than if we don’t. They keep him from startling himself and they calm him down. Putting him in his Swaddleme is part of our nighttime ritual. I turn off the lights and put the white noise on, then get him swaddled, then hold him, shushing and patting his back until he is almost asleep. Then I put him in his crib, still awake, and he calms himself off to sleep within 5-10 minutes. We would be lost without these. I just bought a package of the larger size. We will swaddle until he outgrows the Swaddleme!
it was not used as mush. my sons hands some how always came free 🙂
Comfy and cute
These worked well for my newborn he loved them until he found out he could move his arms and that was then the new awesome.
LOVE LOVE LOVE SwaddleMe.
I was very intimidated by swaddling when my son was born. At the hospital, the nurses showed us how to do it properly, but I could just not get it right with a blanket. Then, SwaddleMe came to the rescue! The velcro closure is wonderful and my son hardly ever "escaped" the swaddle. You just need to make sure to have the right size to make sure that it’s a tight fit so that you baby can stay swaddled. I recommend to close all the velcro parts before you launder it to make them hold up. We have done this every time and they still function perfectly.
Can’t live without
These are amazing, and my newborn can’t sleep without them. They keep him from flailing in the night and waking himself up. They’re easy to use and work really nicely. Now that he’s getting older, stronger and longer, they may not work as well. But I’m holding on as long as possible! Highly recommend.
I’m a huge fan of the swaddles. They are so much easier to use in the middle of the night than swaddling with a blanket. I will buy these for every baby shower I go to in the future I like them so much. My boy sleeps so much better with them.
I brought these as a gift for my niece baby shower
I had these shipped straight to my sister for my niece baby shower and my sister said she loves them they are not to heavy they are really soft and she can not wait to see the baby in them they love them they are well worth the money compared to target and walmart
We were using Aden & Anais swaddle blankets, which worked for about a month and then our son figured out how to break out of them. He’s still able to break out of these on occasion, but it’s MUCH better than the blankets and he seems comfortable in them. Easy to use. Only complaint is how connected to itself it gets when you wash it, no matter if you connect the velcro or not.
Wrap them up and they are down for the night!
I used these for my first born being completely oblivious to how to properly wrap a baby snugly in a receiving blanket, these were a life saver. I used them when I used to put him down for the night as a newborn. He loved being snuggled in them. He did manage to get an arm loose every now and then but I learned to make sure to wrap him better the next night. I loved these so much I bought them for friends.
Swaddle plus swing plus “ssshhhhhh!” equal baby sleep! Which means mom and dad sleep! I would pay 2-3x the asking price for these swaddlers. Love them!
These are just OK
These are just OK because you can get your babies swaddled better than traditional swaddle blankets, because they don’t become a tangled mess after a while, but like some reviewers noted, the velcro is a bit of an annoyance because they are loud and will wake up your baby if you need to change them at night. Also, after a few washes, the velcro starts to become less sticky and the exposed velcro can be rather scratchy. Even when swaddled tight, my babies can still work their lower arms out of the swaddle. Personally, I prefer the wombies for my babies as you can easily unzip your babies from bottle up to expose their diapers without waking them up.
This Summer Infant 3 Piece SwaddleMe Cotton Knit Infant Wrap is very cute, I will buy it again and tell my another friends.
