Nice Quality, Great Idea
We are very happy with this SwaddleMe Blanket. It’s such a nice invention for a new mom like me. I like that you don’t have to worry about the blanket covering your baby’s face. We like the quality of the fabric. It’s very soft. We also like that it stays in a good shape still after washing it a few times. We would highly recommend getting one for your baby or someone who is about to have a baby.
This SWADDLE ME WRAPSACK is a comforting way to wrap your baby for sleep. It’s made of 100% soft breathable cotton and it’s a nice weight (not too heavy) now that summer is almost here. It is a nice blue print with cars, trucks and trains shown. The Newborn size fits babies 5-10 pounds. The Small/Medium size fits babies 7-14 pounds. And the Large size fits babies 14-20 pounds. It is machine washable cold water and machine dryable. Be sure to close the Velcro tabs before washing so they don’t catch and snag other items. There is plenty of leg room in the swaddle sack and there is a zipper at the bottom of the sack so the baby doesn’t need to be totally unwrapped to change diapers.Baby can be swaddled with both arms in, both arms out or one of each in this Wrap Sack.I do wish it was made in the U.S.A.; it is made in China.
Swaddler and Sack in one
I think swaddling is great for the first few weeks at home for baby, but it’s been my experience that eventually swaddling seems to upset baby more than comfort and that is why this SwaddleMe WrapSack is great. When baby comes home this is a easy way for Mom, Dad and Grandparents to swaddle baby, then as baby grows you can continue to use it as a sleep sack which is especially great for those sleeping diaper changes. The fabric is soft and comfortable, the print is adorable for any little boy andthe price makes it a good buy for yourself or to give as a shower gift.
Perfect transition piece
My infant son is growing out of his swaddles (and seems to struggle against them), but he doesn’t sleep as well in a full sleep sack, which is really more like a loose, wearable blanket. This WrapSack is the perfect transition piece! It holds his arms snugly in place and gives him that swaddle feel, but the bottom part is just like a sleep sack, and it’s very loose. He is getting used to that extra freedom for his legs while still feeling comfortable with his arms in something that feels like a swaddle. We love this and use it every night. It is also great that this comes in a small size so you can use it with very young babies. This is perfect for those babies who don’t like to be so tightly confined as in a full swaddle but still like to have the comfort of swaddled arms (to soothe that startle reflex).
Not for those swaddle busting babies
My baby is long. 25.5 inches at 3 months..his toes touch the bottom. He can no longer fit in his swaddleme and so I bought this in hopes of continuing to swaddle. This wrapsack does not have an organic fabric option, so it is rough and less stretchy. The top buttons close (shoulder straps) with a since snap button each…weak!! My baby can bust through his swaddleme..this wrapsack doesn’t have a chance. Returned.
Love the top, no use for the zipper.
I love the swaddle portion of the blanket. It is so cozy for babies and I swear it helps them sleep more soundly. The zipper function of the blanket didn’t do anything for me. I prefer zipup one piece jammies for my babies so it didn’t do anything for me. It wasn’t like I could really use the zipper at the bottom anyways since I would have to unzip the jammies too. It doesn’t take away from the blanket I just didn’t really use it.
I love the zipper!
The SwaddleMe WrapSack has many positive features, but my favorite is the zipper at the bottom. I can change my little guy’s diaper without having to completely undress him. I’ve found that having him wear just a tshirt and diaper inside the sack is perfect in warm climates. The fabric is warm, but light and super soft. They run a little large, so the small would likely work through ~15lbs.
Does the job, runs a little large
This didn’t actually work for my son until he hit 10 pounds. I love it now that it fits! It helps him sleep better at night and keeps him warm since you’re not supposed to use loose blankets with babies.
This is a nice quality sleep set. Cute design for baby boys. Will last through washings – nice gift too!
So cute for a boy!
This is wonderful, the material is very soft and loves the graphic transportation, and following the instructions it was very easy to use. Washed very well, no fading and zipper is easy to maneuver. The fabric is very light so perfect for a spring/fall usage in addition to summer.
Must-have item for new parents!
This is the perfect way to swaddle a newborn without the fuss! It is easy to use and is made with soft beautiful fabric. This particular brand is a little thinner material so it is perfect for summer or warmer days. Get your baby to sleep longer with SwaddleMe! I highly recommend this for all new parents and it makes a great baby shower gift.
Love this item!
We got several of these in different patterns to add to this summer’s round of baby shower gifts, and they were all big hits. Wonderfully soft, a very good weight for wrapping baby to sleep in a climate-controlled house, and adorable; I love the little cars and trucks.Pros: Very unlikely to block baby’s breathing; the design doesn’t let it come up over the face even accidentally. Versatile, in that you can partly-swaddle baby in whatever way he likes best at the moment. Zippered bottom for diaper changes.Cons: Velcro closure will catch on everything in the wash if you let it. Our family member closed the Velcro before laundering, and placed it inside a fine mesh lingerie bag (a thin pillow case might work if you don’t have a lingerie bag handy), and said it was now fine. She did say that the Velcro still tends to collect little bits of thread and lint from thin air, but this doesn’t affect function at all.
