Best bottles we ever used

Supposed to simulate how breast milk comes out. They worked great for us. After trying multiple different types of bottles these worked the best. It limited the amount of air intake that goes to the baby and causes less gas issues and less burping needed. Works smoothly and the kids took to them a lot easier.

Best nipple for my son

I am a breast-feeding mom and my son loved these nipples. They were excellent at reducing air intake and they’re the only (non-boob) nipple my guy likes. Highly recommended.

Great unless your baby is a super sucker

I wanted to like these bottles *SO* bad and was counting down the days until they got here, but alas, they just aren’t going to work for us. My little guy is a voracious eater and he collapses the outer nipple within two or three sucks. They dont empty out completely (like other reviewers have said – it leaves about half an ounce in the bottle that you just. cant. get to. no matter what you try to do) and when the outer nipple is collapsed, there is no semblance of this being anything close to a real breast.Pros:1) none for me but obviously they help lots of other peopleCons:1) They are a massive pain in the butt to clean.2) You cant ever get that last half ounce out of the nipple – so sad to waste breastmilk!3) Collapses very easily if your baby is a voracious eater and sucks really hard.4) Didn’t seem to do much as far as how much air he was taking in. I could hear him swallowing a LOT of air with these and I got lots of big burps from him afterwards.

Good option if breastfeeding

I would rate this higher if it the bottles were easier to clean and if the blue inner nipple was more durable. I had to keep replacing the nipple because the inner nipple would get worn pretty quickly. This is a good bottle if you are breastfeeding and bottle feeding.

LOVE these bottles!

These were the bottles I used for all three of my kids. I breastfed and had my husband do a bottle once a week so that way if I was ever away from them they would be okay with taking a bottle. I tried many other bottles before trying this kind, mostly because my husband didn’t like that these had three parts to clean. My kids never liked any others, these worked perfectly with no issues or forcing. They all took to them right away!

Flow not fast enough. Nipple collapses too easily restricting flow.

When my baby was a newborn, she needed a VERY slow flow nipple, and the Breastflow bottle was the only bottle slow enough. Fast forward 5 months, and I buy the 9 ounce bottles thinking it’s a faster flow. It is only slightly faster. The nipple in a nipple design restricts flow too much, and it was taking 40 minutes for my baby to drink 7 ounces. FORTY MINUTES! I was hoping First Years made an even faster flow nipple but they don’t so I switched to Avent Natural. With that bottle, my baby could finish a feeding in 10 minutes so I know it’s not that she’s a slow drinker.Save yourself the hassle I went through and just invest in a new bottle system.

Great for breast feeders

We really believe these bottles have helped my wife continue to both breast feed and bottle feed our daughter with no "nipple confusion" or other issues.
