if your baby is a slow drinker…
my baby was a very slow, choke-with-every-nipple type of baby. we tried so many brands (medela, evenflo, avent, similac) and found the tommee tippee was the best (slowest). Now upgraded to size 2 at 4 1/2 mo and she is doing ok with some formula leaking. BTW, the valve tends to get stuck when the nipple is new. we had the same problem with size 1. the first few times you use it, you have to squeeze the inside of the valve just before the feed to make sure is pops open…
I’m personally a HUGE fan of the Tippee line. I use all their bottles, and switched from 0m nipple to this once my son was old enough. Eventually I bought the Vari-flow nipple, and love that even more!
We recommend Tommee Tippee for birth through childhood!
We use Tommee Tippee exclusively. The bottles and accessories are excellent and 100% reliable. They also go across lots of age ranges so you can continue to add/change depending on the needs of your child.
We decided to switch all of the nipples in my son’s bottles to medium flow because it seemed like he was working too hard to get milk out (and sucking in milk as a result). I’m very happy with the result. It was easy to switch them out and he’s much happier at feeding time now.
Loved these nipples
I’ll keep buying these nipples because the air flow vent prevented the nipple from collapsing. And the nipples are easy to clean.
