So happy with these
I bought these when I was pregnant with our first child. It is so overwhelming, all the products that are available out there and knowing what is going to work best for me was kind of a mystery. I am exclusively breast feeding but knew I would need to use a bottle every now and then. These are very nice because they are the closest to the shape of an actual breast, which kept my newborn from experiencing “nipple confusion” we’ve used these more than I thought we were going to need them and my baby hasn’t had an issue going from breast feeding to bottle feeding. My only suggestion is to hand wash them, never put them through the washing machine. Also, this starter kit is nice because I haven’t had to buy any additional bottles or brushes or anything. So I’m happy with my purchase.
haven’t used yet
but i have heard the tommee tippee are great because they don’t leak. I did notice that no where on the pack does it state they are BPA free. So i guess these wont be going in the dishwasher.
FINALLY- thank goodness!
I breast feed and am going back to work soon. My 9 week old could not eat out of other bottles- they all either dripped out of her mouth everywhere or she just refused. Close to desperation, she just took to this bottle immediately and it just worked. However, Amazon is the cheapest for most things, but way more expensive for these bottles!
Mom (my daughter) absolutely raves about this product. She could not find this brand in stores, and when occasionally encountered, they were not available in the sizes, combinations, or volume as I found them on Amazon.
These are our favorite bottles. The baby loves them and is able to hold onto them. The nipples on them work really well.
After three months on maternity leave only breastfeeding my daughter, it was very difficult finding a bottle that she’d take. After a suggestion from my sister-in-law I decided to give these a try. My daughter has no issues with these and doesn’t seem to have any confusion with returning to the breast.
My girls were breastfeed and we tried many bottles , almost 100 nothing worked until we found these. They are a wide base and closer to nature looking then most of the bottles out there. They are easy to clean and are very cute! They are easy to pump into with adaptor
Love these bottles!
These bottles are great! Granted we’ve never tried any others, but we’ve had no need, since these have worked so well for us. The nipples are pretty close to breast shaped, and we’ve never had any trouble with “nipple confusion”. I like the shape of the bottle, it seems to focus the milk toward the nipple without having to tilt the bottle too far, and we’ve never had any trouble with leaking. They are easy to clean, with few parts; we did use a steam sterilizer for the first three months, then switched to soap and hot water. Our doctors have advised us to take latex precautions with our son, so we love that these bottles are latex free. They are also BPA free. The blue hue and designs on the bottles are pretty cute.Every baby is different, and some may dislike these bottles. We were fortunate that our son liked these, the first bottles we chose. This set also includes a formula dispenser and a pacifier, given that we only feed pumped breastmilk, we had no need for the dispenser. Our son has also flatly refused a pacifier, so that was a bit of a waste for us, too.
My baby won’t take any other bottle! These are the BEST!
I am a huge fan of these bottles. I love that my son can feed himself with these bottles. I love that I can make a bottle and give it to my son to hold when we are on the go. These bottles are easy to use, easy to clean, and easy on the eyes, and I would highly recommend it for moms looking to bottle feed their babies. My son was almost exclusively breastfed for eight months and these bottles made the transistion from breast to bottle painless. The Decorated Starter Set comes with two 5-fl oz bottles, four 9-fl oz bottles, one bottle and nipple cleaner, and one pacifier. I love that it comes with so many bottles as well as the tool I will need to clean them with! The shape of the bottle makes it easy for my baby to hold it all by himself. He can hold the bottle, bring the nipple to his mouth, and feed himself. My life just got infinitely easier! This bottle has an easy-vent valve, making this anti-colic anti-gas bottle a breeze to use and to clean. These bottles have wide nipples making it easier for my baby to latch on! The ease of use makes transitioning from breast to bottle pain free! This bottle is simple and effective. It works and there are not a million pieces and parts to this bottle that all need to be disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled. In other words I don’t need to read a manual to figure out how to work this bottle. The bottles are cute. It is as simple as that. They are adorable little boy bottles! There are little boats and the bottles have a blue tint to them. Cute!I was given the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Newborn Decorated Starter Set for the purposes of a review. Regardless, opinions are 100% my own. To read more about my review as well as view pictures of this product in use, you can visit the “Mom Mart” blog.
Sadly a no.
These are really cute bottles. I liked that it went in on the sides of the bottle for easy grips. A family member used these exclusively with her daughter when she was born with no problems. We actually got a few hand-me-down bottles in addition to this set, which I received at my baby shower. The nipples seemed wonderful because I needed something that was like my nipple. This is the largest nipple I’ve ever seen and really mimics the breast. It has a softish, but pliable texture. So when I started supplementing with formula, I was really eager to try it out. Unfortunately, my baby tried hard to latch to these and was unsuccessful on most attempts. When he did attach, he’d have formula dripping down his face. He’d cry because he was frustrated. So, I can’t use these right now. But, I do like that I don’t need to toss the bottles just yet. I may be able to wait for him to need a faster flow (I am using the slow flow nipples for newborns, btw). OR, I may be able to replace it with a sippie cup lid. Even better. So these will sit until my son is ready for change.
