The perfect crib rail cover!

I was so pleased with the purchase of this crib rail cover. We have the Land of Nod “Straight Up” crib, which is a traditional crib (rather than a convertible crib) and it has rather narrow crib rails. All the other crib rail covers I found online were really wide and drooped down into the crib alot – this crib rail cover fits the side rail perfectly and looks very neat. It also has a lot more “cushiness” than other crib rail covers I’ve seen, in that it’s a thick fleece, which is really easy on our son’s teeth and gums when he does end up chewing on it.I only needed the one crib rail cover since the other crib rail is against the wall, but just note that it’s only one crib rail cover that you’re getting. Perfect for our needs!

Soft and fits snuggly

I have the Graco Sarah crib which has narrow rails on both sides. I had noticed my 14 month old daughter had white flakes around her mouth in the morning and was shocked to realize it was paint chips from the crib rails! I bought two of these covers and they fit snugly around the rails and blend in nicely. I bought the white covers for my white crib. It is a really soft fleece that feels like good quality, and the ties keep the cover on tightly. Highly recommended before your baby gets teeth.

Does the job well but a tiny bit short

The rail cover is wrapped in a very soft fabric and is nicely padded on the inside. It is a pure, bright white and it washes well. We are very happy with it. One caveat though is that it is about 1/3 to 1/2 inch short on either side of our Graco Lauren Crib and if the rail cover is pulled at, the bare spot can be as much as 1 to 1 1/2 inches (it will return to its original position once you stop pulling). This doesn’t cause us any bother as our 8-month-old child just chews in the middle and isn’t very interested in finding a bare spot of wood to gnaw on BUT if you have an older child or a child that is determined to find an opening, this could be an issue for you.

needs longer string

Does not fit the front of our crib and shrinks when washed. We need to add strings to make it fit.

Mine didn’t have any slits

This would probably be great if it actually had the slits to tie it around the crib rail. It came as a solid mat with ties on one side. I’m not about to spend more money to have it shipped back and then wait longer for a new one while my daughter ingests more of her crib so I guess I’m stuck wrapping the ties up and around it (looks really dumb but oh well)

Great Rail Cover!

When my daughter started standing in her crib and her teeth were coming out, she started chewing on the crib rail and tearing parts off it. I started searching for a solution and ran into the Trend Lab CribWrap Fleece Rail Cover. This is a great solution and I would recommend buying a set along with the bed in order to protect your little one from eating wood and paint from nibbling on the rails. It’s made out of great quality, easy to wash and ties easily. Most importantly, it does the job and looks nice on the crib.Make sure you buy enough covers for all four rails (two long, two short).

Love it.

After I put this cover on the crib my daughter was no longer interested in chewing on her crib rail. This product makes me feel so much better knowing she’s no longer ingesting paint and wood. It is a well made product too. It has a very thick and soft fleece material on the cover, a light amount of batting in the center, and the back is plastic. So its soft, cushioned, and water resistant. I really like this product.

Does Its Job, But Smells Terrible

I was in a desperate bind after my son woke up one day and decided to start eating the crib rails on his Babyletto Modo crib. I needed something and fast, before he destroyed all the rails with his little teeth. Apparently there aren’t many options in crib rail covers despite the fact that I assume the majority of babies go through this destructive chewing stage. The only options it seemed were the Leachco brand and this one, or make it myself, which was going to take a lot longer. So far these have been doing the trick. My son chews on them instead of the rails, which is the main benefit. However, I wish they were a tad bigger in all directions. The crib has narrow rails, but it still isn’t narrow enough for this to cover completely. The other option seemed like it would hang down way too low. If they had one in between these two sizes I think it would be much better. Also, my son likes to hang out at the corners of the crib, so if these were slightly longer, I’d feel better that he couldn’t totally attack the corners with his teeth. The ties could also be longer. As it is, they fit, but just barely. The main negative is that these stink, literally. It’s either from the packaging or the materials, but there’s a distinct chemical odor and after washing a few times, it’s still there. I feel terrible that my son is chewing on these things despite the chemicals, but until I have the time to sit down and make my own, these have to suffice. I also feel that it’s kind of expensive for just one rail cover, and because of the crib we have, we need 4 of these covers instead of 3.

Works perfectly

It does have a smell to it but I washed it twice and put it on the line to dry…covers entire rail and soft on gums love that it is also waterproof!

No more teething on the crib.

My son began teething on his crib and I was very worried about the impact on his teeth, and the wood. I searched and searched for the right product, and ultimately I chose these rail covers based on the Amazon reviews. The crib rail covers are super soft and attractive. They are easy to get off and on, which is important as I’ve washed them several times. Despite the many washes the covers are holding up nicely. My son’s crib is white and the covers match pretty well. I high recommend these rail covers.

gets dirty very fast

bought white cover and seems like it is dirty all the time just from her chewing on it and she is always pulling on ties. not easy to get clean either.

Great Product

This works great. It has little ties on it to secure it to the crib so if your top railing isn’t abnormally wide, it should work. My only issue is it only covers the front railing. If I want to cover the side ones I would have to buy two more and cut them to make them fit.

Solved my chewer problem!

After I purchased a new crib for my son, he began chewing on the rails (he could stand and was teething), I tried wrapping blankets around the rails and that didn’t work! Then I searched and found these! Problem solved! These are easy to put on – take off – and clean!

Worked great on my extra long crib

Worked great for me and was easy to remove and wash! I would recommend it for long and skinny crib rails

Look nice

Work perfectly on our white crib. Bought two, one for back rail and one for front. Washed nicely. Made well to secure to crib.

This is the first thing that has worked to stop my baby literally pulling pieces of wood off the crib with her teeth!

Lindsay East Templeton, MA

great cover!

Does the job it’s suppose to do. The only flaw is that it creates a lot of dust so my wife always uses a lint roller on it. Other than that it does the job and protects the crib.

Nona Millersburg, MI

I had made something similar to this with my first son, but it got gross and wasn’t all that pretty to look at. Decided to look for one to purchase and came across this. It’s so soft and washable so that’s a perk. It looks great on the crib and I know I won’t have to worry about my son chewing up the railing.

Rena Deepwater, MO

After numerous teeth marks in our crib rail we decided that this was a necessity. It’s perfect, easy to wash, soft, and everything we needed.

Mabel San Martin, CA

Fits crib, very soft

The fleece material is very soft and thick, so it’s perfect for it’s purpose. I kind of like that it’s white because I often forget to wash it, but then I see the gross food/unknown substances all over it and it’s a big reminder. It will fit around a pretty wide rail. The widest part of my crib rail is probably about 3in.

Delia Hamburg, PA

These are awesome. Lightweight and they fit well. They match her white crib wood and she can’t get them off. They’re perfect. I bought the side ones to go with it.

Jesse Glasgo, CT

Very Happy with Product

We purchased two of these for our baby’s crib and are very happy with them. They are VERY soft and our daughter loves to pull up to stand holding onto them in her crib. She puts her mouth on them and they keep both her and the crib safe and undamaged. She is active and also loves ot pull on the ties (but cannot undo them since double knotted). They have held up very well and have been through the wash/dryer, as well. They look nice and fit our standard crib very well.

Sydney Annona, TX

Fit the purpose

Does what is is suppose to do. Easy to put on and to clean. Not too bulky. I prefer the look of my crib without but better than the other option out there.

Caitlin Starkweather, ND

So far its working!

I recently bought this (and two side pieces) to help protect the baby bed rails from “teething” marks. (You have to purchase these items separately – wish all three could come together). So far it is working great. Very soft and fuzzy! One thing that I didn’t realize when I bought it is that the two “strings” that wrap around the rail are pretty short. We BARELY made it work. Our front rail is approx 4 1/2″ from the top to the bottom. So if your railing thickness is any wider than that this will not work for you. The two side ones didn’t have as thick of a railing and we were able to tie them with no problem. If you have a crib with an attached changer then you will only need the front rail and ONE side rail cover.

does exactly what I thought it would

My 1 year old chews on this almost everyday. When I go in to get her from her nap she’s got her mouth all over it…glad it’s not the crib railing. I’m so happy with this purchase!

Perfect for a chewer/teether

Now that we have had this for awhile, I really like it. Works wonderfully on my teething baby who stands in the crib. He can chew on it and I don’t have to worry about damage to the crib.

Wish I found this sooner

I originally had a silicone rubber teething cover for my son’s crib and found this one after he started to peel the old one off and chew off the adhesive 🙁 I really like this cover! I love that I can just take it off and wash it and not worry about my son chewing on glue. And there’s no risk of the tape peeling the finish off his crib with this one either. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is the fit. My son’s crib has wide slats and a mid-size rail (about 2″ x 3″). This narrow cover fits it OK but I have to put it on just right, stretching the ties around some of the slats. I didn’t like the look of the long rail cover and I really think that one would have been too big for my son’s crib. If the narrow one was just 10% wider, or if they made a “medium” size….

Jo Feeding Hills, MA

This does the trick!

Covers the rail…keeps my baby from chewing paint chips. Love the waterproof backing feature. It’s hard to buy things like this online without trying it on the crib but this fit PERFECTLY. Make sure you measure your crib to make sure if this will be too big for it!

Nellie Hazelton, KS

Works perfectly, saves your crib.

Pros:–Works just like its supposed to! Keeps my toddler from chewing on the wood and ruining our crib. Instead she has learned that she can bite the fleece, but its not as fun as wood so the habit has been broken. Totally saved our crib for our next baby.–Securely fits on the crib. There is no way my toddler could get this off. She can partially untie some of the fleece ties, but never all the way.–I read reviews about the “smell” and I totally disagree. I washed mine as soon as I got it, hung it outside to dry in the sunshine, and I have never smelled anything plastic or chemical.–Looks cute! We got the white color to put on our white crib, so it just looks plush and cute.Cons:–The fleece ties are annoying to have to untie and tie, but fortunately you don’t have to do it very often. I usually wash mine once a month. Not a big “con” at all.

Great product!

My baby started biting the railings of his crib, so I wrapped and tied receiving blankets around the rails until I could figure out what to do. I looked at several rail protectors but was not crazy about a plastic protector (it seemed like saliva would get trapped beneath the plastic and not dry – become dangerous/grow bacteria). When I opened the box after purchasing this, I was very happy with the quality, it’s very durable yet very soft, easy to ‘install’ (very safe), easy to clean and looks beautiful.
