Wish I would’ve bought this sooner!!

The first time my daughter started chewing the rail of her crib, it was already too late. The damage was done. The finish was removed from an area about the size of a quarter in two places, one from her top teeth and another from the bottom not to mention the many scratches in other places, all along the front edge of her crib. I looked at other crib rail guards and none of them would fit our convertible crib. These are wonderful! Not only are they soft, easy to install and are machine washable, but there’s a waterproof layer so when she chews it now, the wetness doesn’t seep down to the wood to damage it further. I also purchased the front rail cover to protect the crib on all the sides she could chew. I highly recommend this product!!Now that I have owned this product for some time I wanted to make a suggestion. I still highly recommend these protective guards, but before you wash them, place a few stitches through it in a few places to keep the cushioning in place. The first washing wasn’t too bad, but after the second and third, the batting inside has bunched up and no longer lies flat and is doubled in some areas. It’s not a sheet that you can maneuver back to it’s original position. Once it’s bunched, it’s bunched. I haven’t found a way to fix it, but it doesn’t look that bad.

Saving my crib

Trend Lab Two Short Narrow Cribwrap Rail Cover, WhiteSo I bought these wide ones after reading several reviews and they are perfect! They are protecting the crib rails from more damage and they are staying put. She can move the ends a little if she really wanted to but she hasn’t even tried. I bought the natural fleece for the sides and white for the front all had plastic backing. Only thing I wish I had done was looked for thinner ones because it’s hard to see her on the video monitor with these because they are so long. After buying them I discovered the thinner ones (linked in this post) but I don’t regret the big ones. I will only have them on when its in toddler setting so I can still see the bottom of the crib.

Saves the crib!

I originally had just the front cover wrap on my son’s crib which was wonderful. However, the quickly learned he could scoot over to the sides to chew on the wood there! These are the perfect solution. They are longer so they will fit most varieties of cribs. I wish you could pull the ties through more to make it a little tighter but overall they work well. They wash and dry well without shrinking or coming apart. I’d purchase again!

Perfect

These are perfect for our crib. We have one of the convertible cribs and they fit perfect. Exactly what we needed, our dtr loves to chew on things.

The Best in Anti-Gnaw Technology

Our baby gnawed on his crib rail so bad that he cut his gums in the process. That was one heck of a terrifying moment walking into the nursery and seeing blood smeared all over his crib! Thankfully there was no serious injury to him, nor much damage to the crib, but obviously we needed something to protect the both of them. This rail cover was easy to install, looks nice, cleans easy. Pair with two of theTrend Lab Long Narrow Cribwrap Rail Covers, which come one to a package, for full coverage. We have a Kendall crib from Pottery Barn, and this rail cover fits it perfectly.Made in China.

used on a Dutalier Crib

We purchased these for our Dutalier Crib. The thickness of some of the wood pieces have made finding mobiles and things that affix to the side of the crib difficult. While putting this on the crib was tight, it did work and has stayed in place very well. I wish they would make the ties longer and allow you to cut them to length.

these are great! better than other brands!

love these! they are fleece on top, super soft – and the part that touches the rails are plastic covered. other brands are not "waterproof" and if you have a little one trying to chew, saliva gets everywhere and soaks through. these have prevented the wood from warping & getting ruined by my little chewer. the ties work well for any size crib. they are a little thicker than other brands too and I would highly recommend them!

Update

After receiving this package, I washed it according to the instructions. After it air dried, I noticed that it still contained a strong, almost chemical-like smell. I ended up washing the rail guards two more times and am somewhat satisfied with the results. I needed a product to protect my sons crib rails as he has learned to gnaw on the sides. This will work for now until I find a better replacement.12/18/12 update: I am adding a star to my original review as the chemical smell is now faint (after many washes), and we still use it everyday. I caught my soon teething on it, so it serves it’s purpose, and I havent come across a better one yet.

Great product–Super soft and easy to use

I love these crib rail covers. They are super soft, wash easily, and are simple to install. As soon as I put them on, my son stopped chewing on the crib. I would definitely buy them again.

Works Fine

I got this for the crib at my Mom’s house, since I don’t want my beaver son to ruin her crib. These don’t fit the crib perfectly and it doesn’t go all the way to the corners but overall, it does the job and looks nice.

Get it now!

We waited until 10 month old daughter had already put a couple of marks on her expensive crib before ordering this, so don’t make that mistake! Order it early–it fits perfectly, it’s soft and fleecy, the waterproof backing ensures no drool goes through, and the particular color we ordered (cream/off white) looks great with most bedding. Love it!

Love it.

Got this before my daughter got teeth. Her crib converts to full size so I want to keep it as nice as possible so that my daughter can use it Ito her teens. Shes not a biter and I’m not sure if it’s because she doesn’t have the opportunity to eat up her crib. Either way, the product is well made and soft. I have the front and side ones. I don’t have to take them off to take out the mattress when I change the sheet.

Love these wraps!

These crib wraps are an excellent neutral color, were easy to attach to the crib, and do their job of protecting our convertable crib from teeth marks and arrant chewing!

works great

These worked out perfectly for the sides in our DaVinci crib. Course it doesn’t protect the actual rails, and baby has done a number on those, but the most visible parts of the crib are still good to go.
